Hello, this trip has a total of 5 members, including me. ^^
This trip, I intentionally used only one camera body and one fixed lens: the Canon 60D with the 50mm f/1.8. This simplified my travel but presented challenges in terms of photographic angles. Stay tuned to see how the photos turned out! ^^
Our journey began in the late morning, avoiding the early rush of a typical vacation day. We flew to Chiang Mai with AirAsia, a flight I booked months ago for five people at a price comparable to a bus ticket. The weather was pleasant, with gentle morning sunshine and clear skies. We arrived in Chiang Mai shortly after 11:15 AM.
Feeling hungry, we wasted no time and headed straight to the Food Center at Maya Mall for a quick and convenient lunch.
- First meal -
After satisfying our hunger, we spread out mats to sleep in front of the mall. 555
Who would do such a thing? Let's move on.
This afternoon, I decided to take the group to pay respects and make merit at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
Exiting Maya Mall, we crossed the street and hailed a red songthaew, negotiating a round-trip fare.
We have arrived at our destination. Let's prepare our legs and start our hike!
The atmosphere inside the temple.
Let's take a short walk and then get back in the car at the same spot where we got out. It's a good idea to make a clear arrangement with the driver beforehand. Here, the red taxis are all the same, so if you can't remember the license plate, at least note down the driver's phone number.
On the way down, I asked the driver to stop by to pay respects to Khru Ba Siwichai.
We then traveled to our accommodation for the first night, which was located near Tha Pae Gate. This location was chosen for its proximity to the Sunday Walking Street.
The atmosphere of the first night's stay.
It's time now, around 6:00 PM. The walking street is ready, members are ready, let's go! ^^
Today is Sunday, the walking street is at Tha Pae Gate. There are a moderate number of people, not too many. I'm not here during a festival.
The vibrant atmosphere of the Tha Pae Walking Street.
After a long and tiring walk, we returned to our accommodation, exhausted but satisfied. The first day ended with fatigue, a full stomach, and smiles all around. ><

This morning, I took a short walk around the accommodation to enjoy the atmosphere before breakfast. After breakfast, we will check out.
The cat is waiting to greet you this morning.
Today, we will travel to Mae Kampong. It is currently around 9:00 AM, not too late and not too hot, just right. Let's get going! After about an hour and a half, we will arrive at Mae Kampong.
Don't miss this restaurant when visiting Mae Kampong.
After enjoying a cup of coffee, it was time to find a place to relax. We walked from the coffee shop along a path, and not far away, we came across the Kanthaphruksa Temple, also known as Mae Kampong Temple. After paying our respects at the temple, we continued to this restaurant, which offered a familiar and relaxing atmosphere.
This trip was all about eating! We had a great time enjoying the atmosphere and filling our bellies. ^^
Our kind driver took us on a scenic detour, stopping at the Royal Project at Doi Inthanon and the hot springs in San Kamphaeng. As evening approached, we headed into the city. We spent the night in the Nimmanhaemin area.
Accommodation for the second night.
For dinner tonight, we opted for a simple meal near our accommodation in Nimmanhaemin.
After a satisfying meal, we returned to rest, concluding the second day on a full stomach. 555
This morning, we woke up and enjoyed a relaxed breakfast at our accommodation. Later in the morning, we packed our belongings and prepared to check out. Today, we will be visiting temples in the city.
After paying our respects at several temples, we stopped for lunch before heading back.
A renowned Khao Soi restaurant near the temple.
We then traveled to the airport to prepare for our return to the magnificent city of Bangkok.
