This magnificent replica of the Mahabodhi Temple in India meticulously replicates every detail, from its orientation and dimensions to its intricate architectural features. However, it stands one meter taller than its Indian counterpart, reaching a majestic height of 53 meters. The base of the stupa measures an impressive 26 by 29 meters, and its construction was made possible by the generous contributions of devotees, amounting to over 100 million baht. Furthermore, a sapling of the sacred Bodhi tree, under which the Buddha attained enlightenment, was brought from Bodh Gaya and planted at this site.
