Fresh from the scene, I'm here to update you on the latest news about the gulls at Bang Pu. Many of you may have already seen pictures and news reports about their return. However, some of you may still be wondering if there are many gulls this year and whether it's worth visiting. While I can't provide definitive information, I can offer some visual insights. Please note that the pictures may be blurry as the gulls fly very fast and I'm not a professional photographer. Just an amateur! 555
Getting There:
Simple and Easy: Open Google Maps and search for "Bang Pu Recreation Center."
Convenient and Time-Saving: The journey is now more convenient and time-saving than ever before. You can access the center directly from the expressway, which is located near Sukhumvit Road (Old Road). It's easy to find!
Recommended Time:
We recommend visiting in the afternoon, around 3-5 pm, when the weather is not too hot. However, it is advisable to leave before 5:30 pm, as the mangrove forest is home to large, aggressive mosquitoes that can cause painful bites. Some people may even experience severe allergic reactions, leading to pus-filled wounds. This is based on personal experience, so we strongly recommend following this advice.
This is an empty paragraph.
The opening hours are daily from morning until 8:00 PM. However, on Saturdays and Sundays, it can get very crowded. Traffic jams start from the main road, and parking spaces are very difficult to find. Although there are many parking spaces available, the sheer number of people on weekends makes it challenging. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, it is recommended to visit on weekdays.
"Saphan Sukta" is a bridge that extends out into the sea for approximately 500 meters. At the end of the bridge, there is a restaurant.
This bridge is not accessible to vehicles. Please proceed to the designated parking area. However, be aware that parking can be extremely limited on weekends due to high traffic volume.
The sun will be quite strong around 3 pm, so don't forget to bring a hat and an umbrella.
Seagulls migrate annually, typically between November and April.
Upon closer inspection, it is quite charming, with its bright red mouth.
Some groups drifted aimlessly, while others circled overhead, waiting for food.
The sun is shining brightly. I'll stand in the sun for a while to warm up.
However, as we can't stand the sun anymore, it's too hot, let's escape the heat and have some food first.
Air-conditioned rooms were available, but they were all booked. We decided to sit inside instead, where there were plenty of fans to keep us cool.
Enjoying a meal while admiring the view of the bridge, with birds flying back and forth, is a delightful sight.
I'm not sure if I'm just tired or if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

The birds here seem very accustomed to people. In the middle of the bridge, there is a shop selling pork crackling for feeding the birds.
As the afternoon progressed, the number of people increased, and the birds circled more frequently as they were fed more often.
Bang Pu is another beautiful place to watch the sunset, but the gibbons are really afraid of mosquitoes and can't wait.
Last year was a lesson learned. We warned you every day, but you still wanted to stay out until dark. There are a lot of mosquitoes here, and their bites are very painful because they are forest mosquitoes.
Parents with young children need not worry, as there are many children playing and having fun. However, it is advisable to leave before dark.
The atmosphere here is truly wonderful. It's no surprise that Bang Pu Seaside has been a popular tourist destination since the past and continues to be so today.
Personally, I have been visiting this place since I was a child.
This post may be shorter than usual, but I still want to offer a one-day trip option that is close to Bangkok and doesn't require much travel time.
A Pleasant Atmosphere with Stunning Views: A Perfect Destination for All Ages
This park offers a delightful atmosphere and breathtaking views, making it an ideal destination for people of all ages. Admission is free, making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for everyone. However, be aware that the park may be crowded on weekends.
