Ping's Review of Baba Beach Club: A Luxurious Escape in Hua Hin and Phuket

Ping, a renowned travel blogger, recently had the opportunity to experience the newly opened Baba Beach Club, a sister hotel of the acclaimed Sri Panwa. With locations in both Hua Hin and Phuket, Baba Beach Club promises a luxurious escape for discerning travelers.

Ping highlights the stunning design of the 5 Bedroom Beachfront Pool Villa, boasting a price tag of 1xx,xxx baht per night. Despite the luxurious price point, Ping assures readers that the starting prices are more accessible. The hotel's design seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with a youthful vibe, catering to a wider audience.

One of the standout features is the impressive sound system at the Pool Bar, imported at a significant cost. Ping emphasizes the hotel's commitment to providing an immersive and enjoyable experience for its guests.

While Ping acknowledges the hotel's luxurious offerings, they also emphasize the value proposition. The starting prices are more accessible, making Baba Beach Club a viable option for a wider range of travelers seeking a luxurious escape.

Overall, Ping's review paints a picture of Baba Beach Club as a stylish and sophisticated destination, offering a unique blend of luxury and affordability. The hotel's commitment to design, amenities, and guest experience makes it a compelling choice for discerning travelers seeking a memorable getaway.

Travel

  • Fly to Phuket International Airport.
  • Take a taxi to your accommodation for approximately 800 baht. Alternatively, rent a car.
  • The journey to the hotel takes about 20 minutes.

Baba Beach Club maintains its high standards of accommodation and service.
However, the design has changed significantly, incorporating a blend of modern and Eastern influences.
Decorative items, furniture, and wall patterns have a Chinese aesthetic with vibrant colors such as mint green and purple, contrasting with the building's cream, gray, and black tones.

Even the welcome drink is vibrant in color.
It's a refreshing blend of butterfly pea flower and lime juice.

Upon entering the lobby, you will be greeted by the swimming pool, which takes center stage. In the middle of the pool lies the ultra-chic Pool Bar, where you can either perch yourself on a stool and enjoy a drink or take a dip in the water and sit at the bar counter. Unfortunately, during our visit, the bar was undergoing renovations. We'll have to make amends next time!

As mentioned before, the design has a distinctly Chinese feel.

Just look at the building and the roof.

The cushions around the pool are also brightly colored, as before.

Readers who have been to Sri Panwa might be wondering if this is the only pool here. After all, Sri Panwa has many pools.

Relax, the project isn't finished yet.

Once completed, it will be even more magnificent, with many more pools and amenities.

But even what's open now is great, there's nothing missing.

Let's continue!

Baba Beach Club offers six room types:
Baba Suite, Baba Suite Ocean View,
Baba Pool Suite, Baba Pool Suite Ocean View,
Gabana Villa, and Three to Five-bedroom
Beachfront Villa. This time, I stayed in the Gabana Villa.
It's a two-story villa like the one in the picture, with a size of 145 sqm.
The ground floor has a living room and a small kitchen.
In true Sri Panwa style, once you pay a hefty price,
they take excellent care of you. The mini bar here is
replenished regularly. When it's empty, they refill it. It includes mineral water,
juices, soft drinks, snacks, coffee, and instant noodles.

Let's take a look at the second floor. This floor has a bedroom, bathroom, and dressing area. The high ceiling is a big plus for me. I love it! Plus, there's an iPod with great playlists to play in the room all the time. Another thing I like is that the lights in the room can be adjusted in many ways, including welcome, chill, and sexy.

The view from our bedroom window. <3

The bathroom continues to use cream and black as its main colors. The walls are tiled, but they are arranged like bricks to give it a more stylish look. There is both a bathtub and a shower, as well as a Japanese-style smart toilet. When you walk near the toilet, the lid will open automatically, so don't be surprised! And let me tell you, the shower gel and shampoo here are very fresh and fragrant, which should please organic lovers.

Continuing on to the beach, our hotel is located on Na Tai Beach in Phang Nga Province. However, it is named Baba Beach Club Phuket because it is very close to Phuket, as I mentioned earlier. It takes only 20 minutes from Phuket Airport, which is even faster than getting to Phuket town itself! The beach is quiet and secluded, with chairs for relaxing and sunbathing.

The fitness center is currently under construction, but there are ping pong tables available for use on the beach. Surfboards are also available for loan. Alternatively, visitors can drive to Khao Lak National Park to enjoy the waterfalls.

And here it is… the Five-bedroom Beachfront Pool Villa, a sprawling 1,100 sqm haven with a private pool, private balconies, and five bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The expansive ground floor living area provides ample space for relaxation and entertainment. This villa, priced around 1xx,xxx baht per night, comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a luxurious and affordable getaway. Let's step inside and explore further! :D

The living room's color scheme is particularly appealing, with a focus on cream and black tones. The addition of a wooden ceiling adds warmth and character to the space. Notably, the wall behind the sofa is not a picture but a stunning tiled wall.

A dining table or a conference table, this big? 555555

The two-story central walkway of the house is made of glass, making the house bright and inviting.

Four out of five bedrooms are decorated similarly, featuring high ceilings, king-size beds, a work desk behind the bed, and a dressing area. The bathrooms are equipped with showers. The only differences are the color of the pillows, the decorative elements, and the furniture arrangement.

However, there is one room that stands out: the one facing the sea. This room is more spacious than the others, with a raised sofa and a balcony for relaxation.

The bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower, which is a special bonus.
Personally, I like the dark marble walls, which are simple yet stylish.

After exploring until we were tired, let's stop by the restaurant Baba Iki to recharge! This room is lifted from Sri Panwa, but the decoration is more fun with bright red on the ceiling and mint green on the placemats. Here, there are Thai, Western, Japanese food, drinks, etc., but with this atmosphere, Japanese food would be the most suitable. :D

Spicy Salmon Maki: A Culinary Delight

This dish features spicy salmon maki, a delectable maki roll filled with seasoned, finely chopped salmon. The subtle spiciness is perfectly balanced by the topping of succulent salmon roe. The salmon itself is of exceptional quality, melting in your mouth with each bite.

Next up is the Baba Beach Club Maki, the signature maki of this restaurant. It's a large and impressive dish, packed with salmon sushi, asparagus, and cucumber, 8 pieces in total! Topped with imitation crab and spicy mayo sauce, then sprinkled with shrimp roe and tempura powder. I know it's high in calories, but I don't care because it's delicious, okay?

Concluding with Yaki Udon with beef,
which is just as delicious as the previous two dishes.
The beef used is excellent, not chewy at all.
The vegetables are fresh, the noodles are good. A total of 3 dishes
for about 1,600 baht. The price is not as expensive as I thought.
It's the standard of a 5-star hotel.

Here's a glimpse of the nighttime atmosphere.
Beautiful and vibrant, even at night.
Another thing is that the music here is always on, so you don't have to worry about
the night being quiet and lonely. They cater to music lovers.

The breakfast menu offers a variety of dishes organized into categories. Diners can select their desired items by ticking the corresponding boxes. A standout dish is the BaBa Benedict, which features a unique twist on the traditional Benedict sauce. For a more detailed description, please visit the restaurant.

Paragraph.

Alternatively, if you prefer to dine in the comfort of your room, by the pool, or at any other location of your choosing, room service is available throughout your two-night stay. We opted to have breakfast delivered to our room on the day of our departure.

To conclude, here are some beautiful angles around the accommodation that I didn't know where to put them, so I've included them at the end. Please enjoy them. 55555555555
