Brique Hotel: A Luxurious Escape in the Heart of Chiang Mai
The culmination of my adventurous trip to Chiang Mai was a stay at the Brique Hotel, a 4-star establishment that has graced the city for just over a year. After two days of exploring the rugged terrain on a motorbike, scaling mountains, and trekking through the lush forests of Mae Kampong, I sought a luxurious retreat to conclude my well-deserved vacation.
What makes the Brique Hotel stand out?
As a journalist translator, I can help you translate this sentence from Thai to English. Here is the translation:
I usually don't stay in hotels when I travel. I prefer houses, homestays, and other places that feel more personal and have fewer rules. But this place is amazing! It's so relaxing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I completely forgot I was in a hotel. I have to give major props to the architects and interior designers. They did an incredible job making this hotel look stunning. You can take a picture from any angle, and it will look good. I'll take you inside to see for yourself.

Upon entering the lobby, you'll be greeted by a contemporary design with warm tones. This area serves as a waiting space for check-in and check-out, and it's also an excellent spot for capturing some beautiful photos.
Additionally, this corner offers free computer services with internet access. Speaking of internet, you don't have to worry about losing connection at this hotel. Their Wi-Fi is incredibly strong, and I walked around the entire hotel with a consistent signal. So, social media enthusiasts, don't worry about losing touch!

The Brique Hotel offers a variety of room types, including the Deluxe Premier room, which I stayed in. Let's take a look at what this room has to offer besides the bed.
The workspace looked beautiful and clean in the panning shot, making it seem like a comfortable place to work. However, once the shot was over, the reality was quite different.
The room includes a tea and coffee corner for your convenience. If you desire additional refreshments, they are available for purchase.
The bathroom will be a shower room. It is clean and comfortable to sleep in. There are shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, etc. The bathroom amenities are all provided.
Another appealing aspect of this bedroom is its photogenic nature. The numerous photos taken here showcase a soft and dreamy aesthetic. Perhaps the white bedding and the light brown wood-patterned wallpaper contribute to the gentle and soothing ambiance captured in the images.
The balcony offers stunning views of the lake, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. For those who prefer pool or mountain views, those options are also available. During my stay, I opted for a room with a lake view, which also offered a glimpse of Doi Suthep in the distance.
Unparalleled Bliss at Aroma Spa
While I was getting a massage, I didn't take any pictures, but once I felt relaxed, I asked the staff to take some pictures of the different rooms. I'll show you the other rooms in the spa later.
This hotel spa is renowned for its privacy, offering single, double, and group rooms for Thai massage or foot massage without the need to undress. For my treatment, I opted for an elemental balancing massage. The masseuse inquired about my birthdate and then selected aromatherapy oils that aligned with my element and zodiac sign for the massage.
The masseuse presented four different aromatherapy scents for the customer to choose from. If the customer wanted a different type of aromatherapy massage, they would need to choose their preferred scent beforehand. Pan stated that all the scents were fragrant and she wanted them all.
After the massage, you will be served a set of fragrant lemongrass water and dried fruits. It's so cute that Pan took her daughter to take a picture. It's so cool, my daughter!
Waddling with Ducklings
The weather is perfect for a swim, and the water is so clear and inviting. It's also a great spot for photos. If we had come a little earlier in the morning, there wouldn't have been many people here, and it would have felt like our own private pool.
If you're feeling peckish after all that swimming, head up a little further to the dining area. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or just a refreshing smoothie, the choice is yours.
The Restaurant: A Lakeside Breakfast Buffet
This section of the restaurant serves a breakfast buffet in the morning. There is a wide variety of food to choose from, including rice porridge, Thai dishes, and Western options. Guests can choose what they want to eat and bring it to their table. They can then enjoy their breakfast outside with a view of the lake and swimming pool, or they can sit inside in the air-conditioned room.
My Favorite Spot: Vento Bar (Absolutely Love It!)
Among all the hotels in Chiang Mai, Pan likes this one the most. She spends both day and night here, working while gazing at the lake and the city's evening colors. The distant Doi Suthep peak, the cool breeze... Oh, what a delight!
The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines and features promotional offers depending on the season. The menu item pictured below, which I ordered, is a burger set that comes with a soft drink. I must confess that I don't recall the name of the dish, but it was a massive burger that was more than enough for two people to share.
An evening visit to Vento bar offers a tranquil ambiance. During my visit, the crowd was sparse, creating a sense of privacy.
In the early morning, I returned to Vento bar. This time, I enjoyed the city view with a hot cup of coffee. The weather was pleasant, and I spent several leisurely hours at the bar.
Another adorable feature of this coffee is the "coffee print" option. Customers can send photos from their phones to the staff, who will then print them onto the milk foam atop their coffee.
This printer can print color images, black and white images, and sepia images, all according to your instructions. It won't take long to get a stylish coffee photo.
Besides coffee, there are other food options. Pan chose to order only fusion food because it looked interesting, such as steak with Hang Lay curry sauce, Sai Oua balls, and Nam Prik Num sticks, etc. There are many other things worth trying. Pan thinks that if anyone accidentally reads this now, they must be hungry.
My stay at the Brique Hotel Chiangmai was definitely worth it. It turned out to be the ultimate trip, just as I mentioned at the beginning. After several days of adventure, the last day in Chiang Mai ended in a luxurious and stylish way. To those who have read this far, thank you very much. I'll tell you more stories another time.
Goodbye.
