Hello friends, this year has flown by, and it's almost the end of the year again. The weather is starting to get colder, and the tourist season is here. Today, I want to share some stories and photos that I took from my trip to Mon Jong. At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to go because it rained heavily before the trip, making the road up dangerous. But luckily, there was no rain a few days before the trip, so I was able to go.

- I departed on the evening of November 25, 2017, around 9 pm from Bangkok and arrived at the Doi Mon Jong Tourist Service Center around 10 am the next morning.
- The temperature at night is around 10-15 degrees Celsius. During the day, it is not hot, but rather cool.
- The distance to the campsite is approximately 4 kilometers, and another 2 kilometers to the summit of Doi Huasingh. The hike takes 3-4 hours (I walk slowly).
- Leeches are scarce, but wearing long pants is always recommended.
- The cost of a porter is approximately 600-800 baht per person for a round trip.
- The total cost for this trip is approximately 1800-2000 baht.

Let's get started!
Before reaching the starting point of the hike, you will pass through a small village inhabited by locals. The houses are built on a terraced hillside, creating a charming sight.
The air is cool and refreshing on the way up, with a pleasant mist that brushes against your face. For those who want to take stunning photos, I recommend wearing bright colors like red or orange.
The porters here are mostly women, and they are very strong. The price is around 600-800 baht per person for a round trip.
The scenic views along the walk provide ample opportunities for photography.
If you've reached this point, Doi Ma Hohb (not sure if it's a dog or a person, haha), it means you're almost at the campsite. This should lift your spirits a bit.
And then we reached the camping spot. I recommend bringing your own tent, as the park's tents aren't very good. The nighttime air is quite cold, and there's a lot of dew, so you might not be able to sleep in the park's tents.
This is an empty paragraph.
A porter brother helped to build a fire to prepare dinner.
A local dog kept stealing food. (It was quite adorable.)
On the morning of the 2nd, I woke up at 4:30 am, feeling extremely sleepy. I prepared to walk to see the Yod Head Singh, it was very cold, my hands were numb with pain. But when I saw the view, it was totally worth it. The mist flowed like a path, and I was able to catch the first light of the sunrise, which was very beautiful. (It is recommended to bring gloves if you have them, as it is cold and your hands will hurt quite a bit.)
After capturing stunning views of Doi Huasing Peak, we embarked on a trek towards the summit. The path traversed a narrow ridge, shrouded in mist on either side, offering a thrilling yet breathtaking experience. The crisp air and panoramic vistas made for an unforgettable journey.
The hike to the top of Doi Huasingh is approximately 2 kilometers from the campsite. The journey may take longer than expected due to the numerous photo opportunities along the way.
