Hello everyone! Today, we're going to review a restaurant in the Silom area.

When it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, people often think of dishes with various vegetables. However, this restaurant will change your perception of Vietnamese food. In addition to Vietnamese dishes, the restaurant offers a wide variety of other cuisines, including Thai food, seafood, and desserts. The highlight of the restaurant is its all-you-can-eat Vietnamese buffet. The restaurant is called Triple Two, or ๒๒๒, and it's located in the Triple Two Hotel, which is part of the Rarayn Hotel.
There are four ways to get to the restaurant:
- Drive yourself and park at the Rarayn Hotel parking building located in Soi Silom 18. The restaurant is located on the main road.
- Take the BTS Skytrain to Chong Nonsi Station. You can walk or take a taxi. If you walk, go to the Silom intersection and turn left. The restaurant is about 800 meters away and takes about 10 minutes to walk.
- Take the BTS Skytrain to Surasak Station. You can walk or take a taxi. If you walk, walk into the alley next to Bangkok Christian School to Silom Road. Then cross the street and turn left and walk straight ahead. You will find the restaurant. The total distance is about 900 meters and takes about 12 minutes to walk.
- Take bus number 15, 76, 77, 113, 115, 163, 172, 177, 504, 514, or 544 and get off at the bus stop opposite Wat Khaek. Walk another 170 meters and you will find the restaurant.
The restaurant is divided into two sections: a counter for drinking and listening to music, and the restaurant itself.
Upon entering the front seating area, you will find the main dining room of Triple Two. The restaurant features a Thai-inspired design and offers a variety of seating options to accommodate different groups, including chairs and sofas.
After taking a look at the restaurant itself, let's take a look at the food line here.
The first thing we see when we walk in is a square counter. This is where the Vietnamese food is located, which includes sugarcane shrimp, fried spring rolls, butterfly pea sticky rice, fried crab rolls, fresh vegetables, rice, Vietnamese rice crackers, herb-steamed fish, and even pho, which is made fresh and hot to order.
As we move on to the next station, we will encounter fermented pork sausage, roasted duck with vermicelli, and Vietnamese spring rolls. The fermented pork sausage here is pre-wrapped and cut into bite-sized pieces, neatly arranged on a plate, saving us the hassle of wrapping it ourselves.
Next up, we have Thai food, which includes a variety of dishes such as som tam (spicy papaya salad), yum (spicy salads), laap (minced meat salad), and even rice crackers.
In addition to Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, the restaurant also offers a seafood line where chefs prepare dishes fresh for you. You can order by selecting items from the menu at your table and handing it to the staff. The menu includes grilled river prawns, salmon steak, steak, pork, and fried eggs.
After enjoying the savory dishes, we indulged in a sweet treat. This section is located right next to the entrance. Here, you can find a variety of fruits, such as watermelon, pineapple, and papaya, as well as various baked goods, jellies, custard bread, and the famous deep-fried bananas.
This place also offers a variety of beverages, including plain water, carbonated drinks, fresh fruit juices, tea, and strong Vietnamese drip coffee.
The text describes a restaurant with a beautifully decorated garden behind it, where customers can take photos. It also mentions that the restrooms are located to the left of the garden.
Here's a more formal and concise translation:
The restaurant boasts a picturesque garden behind its premises, offering a delightful backdrop for photographs. Additionally, restrooms are conveniently situated to the left of the garden.
In addition, there is a special promotion for a free meal during your birthday month, but only for those who were born in that month. The conditions for receiving the promotion are that the day you go to eat must not be a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday.
Other regular prices can be seen in the picture below.
