Hello everyone ◕‿-
Today, I'm going to introduce a dog-friendly accommodation in Khao Yai for all dog lovers!
"Baan SujiPuri: Baan Sujipuri" is a dog-friendly accommodation.
.
As I wanted to take my family on a weekend getaway for 2 days and 1 night,
and my parents have a motto that says, "If the dog doesn't go, we don't go..."
So I chose a place that is within driving distance from Bangkok and allows dogs!
.
This trip ended up in Khao Yai : )
After asking Google for dog-friendly accommodations, I got many answers.
But the place I was interested in was "Baan Sujipuri" because it looked shady and the staff was very friendly!!!
.
Let's start the journey. Today, we are going up Khao Yai from the Prachin Buri checkpoint.
Along the way, you can visit many places in Khao Yai National Park.
Such as Haew Narok Waterfall, Haew Suwat Waterfall, Pha Diao Dai, Sai Ngam Reservoir, etc.
And the most popular place to stop by and take pictures is "Sai Ngam Reservoir". You can park your car and get off.
Next, we headed to our accommodation, using Google Maps for directions.
You can type "Baan Sujipuri" into the search bar.
The distance from Khao Yai Shrine to the accommodation is about half an hour.
And then we arrived at our accommodation, where a lovely receptionist ran to greet us at the entrance.
With such a warm welcome, how could we dog lovers resist?
Let me introduce our welcoming staff, three Labrador Retrievers.
Two males, Yoshi and Sumo, and one female, Noi Na.
Noi Na is a homebody and prefers to stay with her mother, so you won't see her welcoming guests often.
The two boys, however, are full of energy and love to greet everyone. Sometimes we have to tell them, "Enough, boys!"
The Welcoming Staff and Our Cozy Abode
The welcoming staff escorted us to our designated accommodation, aptly named "พอตัว" (meaning "just enough"). This charming abode, constructed from earthen materials, comfortably accommodated our family of four and our furry companion.
The entrance to our dwelling boasted a delightful seating area overlooking the serene waters, offering a secluded and tranquil ambiance.
Let's explore the interior of the room. The Family room has two large beds and a fan.
Since we came in December, which is the winter season, the weather is pleasantly cool.
On the other side, there is a shelf for placing drinking water and books for reading.
Please note that there is no refrigerator or TV in the room. : )
Let's take a look at the bathroom. The shower area and toilet are clearly separated. Personally, I really like the sink. It's cute and fits well with the earthen house. Most importantly, it has a water heater. : )
We then heard something calling us from outside the room.
Opening the door, we were greeted by the sight of a lonely dog looking for a playmate.
Who taught you to fetch a ball and play with guests like this, little one? It's so adorable. ><
After checking in with the receptionist, we set out to explore the accommodation.
The receptionist led the way... Let's go!
Our daughter trailed behind, barely reaching their ankles.
The resort's accommodations are scattered around the property, with some located directly on the waterfront and others further inland.
The central point of the resort is the "common area," which features seating, lounging areas, and a space for relaxation and reading.
This area has bookshelves where you can borrow books to read. You can choose to read whatever you like.
Let's take a look at the surrounding houses. : )
This house is not located on the waterfront. It is a semi-detached house named "พอจิต" and "พอใจ".
This detached house for two people is not located by the river. It has a swing in front of the room for relaxation.
After a while, the receptionist came to call us to continue playing!
The activity that the receptionist presented was in the mouth that was held in the mouth, throwing the ball...
Seeing this, everyone was excited, don't get carried away and play along, it's tiring 555+
After tiring from throwing the ball, the receptionist presented another activity zone.
You can go down to play in the water. There are boats and slides ready. : )
The receptionist then called us down to play in the water.
They demonstrated how to play by having fun together, like "two playful friends" or "playing on behalf of the guests"!
The two dogs were playing together, but they started to get lonely, so they began to bark to call us over to play with them.
It was like they were saying, "Come play with us! Come play with us!"
Sometimes they would bring us a stick and ask us to throw it into the water. Then, the staff would quickly swim over to retrieve it for them. ^^
Here we go! 1, 2, 3, go!!!
If it makes the dog happy, then we, as dog slaves, are happy too. : )
As for our daughter, she seems happy. Are they flirting with each other? : )
The final zone we will be visiting today is called the "Private Zone".
As the name suggests, this is a private area belonging to the owner of the property. It is located at the front of the entrance and looks very comfortable. : )
A New Day Begins: Breakfast at the Resort
The morning began with a delightful breakfast served at the resort's dedicated dining area. The walk to the restaurant was a pleasant experience in itself, offering a glimpse of the surrounding beauty.
The dining area itself was charming, particularly adorned with "รูปที่มีทุกบ้าน" (a phrase requiring further context for accurate translation).
Breakfast is rice porridge with a tea and coffee corner where you can serve yourself. : )
If you need anything, you can always call the receptionist. They are always on duty.
It's time to go home. The receptionist looked at us with longing eyes.
I feel like I've had a lot of rest. My parents and our dog love this place too...
The receptionists here are all so cute, they make me smile and laugh so much that I don't want to go home ><
We went down to take some photos, and the receptionist even followed us to keep us company.
...Impeccable service at every level, an unforgettable experience...
See you later! Bye-bye ^^
On our way back, we took our time and enjoyed the sights along the way, without any rush or set plans.
