This trip is a VIP Trip (this is our first blog, so please forgive us if there is not much descriptive writing).
The journey began at 10:00 AM from the Sikara Placho Resort in Bang Phra. Our captain informed us that our destination for the day was the crystal-clear waters of Koh Pai, where we would enjoy swimming and a delicious lunch. We would also visit the Phra Chulachomklao Royal Residence on Koh Sichang, a historical landmark built during the reign of King Rama V. The total number of passengers on this trip was 14.
One of the crew members is prone to seasickness, so it is necessary to prepare medical supplies for the journey, as well as small provisions during the trip. (Thanks to the lovely waiter who prepared the provisions.)
Let's go !!
The captain's face
The weather today is quite clear, the sky is beautiful, and the sea is calm, making the crew happy to take pictures all the way.
Our first destination was Bamboo Island. As soon as we arrived, the captain allowed us to swim.
Koh Phai boasts a naturally stunning sea with crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand beaches, a testament to nature's perfect artistry.
The first impression that everyone exclaimed in unison was, "Wow!! It's so beautiful! The color of the sea is so beautiful!" Without hesitation, all the crew members jumped into the water and had a lot of fun.
This trip, in addition to our crew, there were also crews from other ships visiting this Bamboo Island.
As the crew from other ships began to gather, we wasted no time in boarding our own vessel and continuing our journey to the next destination.

The next destination is Ko Sichang. The first place to visit on Ko Sichang is the viewpoint at the Isriya Bhopin Channel (Khao Khad).
The Khao Khad Viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views and a refreshing breeze that blows throughout the day, making it a perfect spot for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery.
After completing the mission at Khao Khad, we continued to our final destination of the day, the Chuthathut Royal Residence, the summer palace of King Rama V. Upon arrival, we saw the Atsadang Bridge, a white wooden house extending into the sea on the left-hand side, a spot where every sailor must capture memories.
The cool evening air, coupled with the soft glow of the setting sun over the sea, creates a picturesque scene perfect for capturing memories through photography.
Borrow a crew member as a temporary model.
And then, the other crew members joined in the fun. ^^
The Royal Palace on Koh Sichang: A Brief History
The Chudadhuj Rajathan Palace, located on the island of Koh Sichang, is the only royal palace in Thailand built on an island. Constructed in 1889, it served as a summer retreat for King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) and his family. The palace was named after the king's son, Prince Chudadhuj Dharadilok (Prince of Phetchabun), who was born there.
The construction of the palace and other royal residences was interrupted in 1893 during the Franco-Siamese War, when French troops invaded Koh Sichang and blockaded the Gulf of Thailand. Subsequently, some of the structures were dismantled and relocated elsewhere by royal decree. Following these events, royal visits to the palace on Koh Sichang ceased.
In 1978, Chulalongkorn University received the right to use the land in the Phra Chulachomklao Royal Residence from the Treasury Department. Therefore, the university established a marine science research station and a student training center in this area, as well as maintaining and preserving the Phra Chulachomklao Royal Residence by renovating and repairing various buildings within the royal residence.
In 2002, Chulalongkorn University renovated the palace grounds into a historical tourist attraction and established a museum. On January 12, 2004, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the Phra Chulachomklao Royal Residence Museum. (Source: Chulalongkorn University)
The sun dips below the horizon, signaling the time to embark on the return journey.
Capturing the atmosphere before the sun sets over the sea, one last glimpse before reaching the shore.
Safe arrival.
This one-day trip was incredibly worthwhile. Many thanks to Sikara Placho Resort for organizing this fun trip and taking us to the beautiful locations of both Koh Pai and Koh Sichang.
