Baan Khao Kho Homestay is a newly opened accommodation in December. It is a small hut-style accommodation hidden in the middle of the valley. The surrounding atmosphere has only mountains, trees, grass, sky, clouds, fog, moon, stars, and silence.

The journey to the accommodation was incredibly fun. Everyone had to ride in an "e-tan" car, weaving through the forest for about 30 minutes to reach the destination. Our initial feeling during the journey, we believe many people must have thought the same as us, "Wow, this is strange." The atmosphere was amazing, and the view was incredible!

Another adorable aspect is the souvenir we receive: a "pha khao ma," a traditional Thai sarong used for bathing instead of a towel. We can take it home after use! What a brilliant and delightful idea.

Although this cabin is located in the middle of the forest, it has 24-hour electricity. However, the electricity is generated by solar panels. Therefore, even though there is electricity, we must still conserve energy.

The first thing on everyone's mind is, of course, the bathroom. But rest assured, the bathrooms here are excellent. Every cabin has its own private bathroom! And if you want to spend a little longer in there, no worries, because they're equipped with flush toilets. Yes, you read that right, flush toilets in the middle of the forest! It's truly amazing. However, there are no water heaters, so be prepared for a refreshing cold shower. But honestly, a cold shower in the middle of nature is incredibly invigorating. Amenities such as toiletries are also provided for your convenience.

Food and Fun Await at This Mountain Retreat

No need to worry about food at this retreat, as delicious meals are provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For those who crave a unique dining experience, barbecue ingredients are available for purchase, including pork, beef, shrimp, vegetables, and various beverages. Whether you prefer water, soda, beer, or something else, you'll find it here. Just bring yourself and enjoy the convenience of having everything you need on-site.

Sleeping under the stars in the middle of the forest, the night sky will be breathtaking. You don't need to do much, just sit back, listen to some relaxing music, and gaze at the stars.

Waking up to fresh air and a light mist, a warm breakfast awaits you. Enjoy a steaming bowl of rice porridge paired with coffee, or perhaps relax with a cup of tea on the balcony.
