Actually, our initial intention for this trip was to book tickets, rent a car, and book accommodation in advance to go hunting for tigers at Khun Wang, like every year. But this year, the tigers bloomed much earlier than previous years, and by the time we arrived, some of the flowers had fallen and were mixed with green leaves. It turned out that it was a little different from the original plan, so we had to cancel the accommodation on Khun Wang and find new accommodation suddenly, 2-3 days before the trip. By chance, while playing on Instagram, I saw someone checking in at Baan Phu Khao. I thought it was beautiful, so I tried to find information until I found the accommodation's page. Then I tried to call to book a room. It turned out that there was a vacant house available on the date we were going to stay, just 1 house. We were very lucky. We immediately transferred the deposit. After a relaxing break, we embarked on our journey to the first accommodation of our trip, Baan Phu Mork. Located approximately 45 kilometers from Chiang Mai city center in Mae Rim district, Baan Phu Mork is accessible via the same route leading to Mon Cham. However, while Mon Cham is reached by turning right, Baan Phu Mork requires a left turn, situated about 3 kilometers from Mon Cham.
The road leading up to Baan Phumok is quite steep, but most cars that aren't lowered too much can still make it. We drove up in a Honda City without any problems. However, if you're not a confident driver, it's best to park your car at the parking lot below and call the resort to arrange a pick-up.
The breathtaking panoramic view from the top is well worth the drive. The vista encompasses the surrounding mountains, including a distant glimpse of Chiang Dao. The high altitude ensures a refreshing breeze, and the mornings and nights are particularly chilly. The clear skies offer stunning views of both the mist and the stars at night. With only four cottages available, the atmosphere is peaceful and secluded, especially during weekdays.
In addition to houses, there are also tents available. We peeked into a tent and saw that it was equipped with pillows and bed sheets, but we forgot to take a picture of the interior.

After breakfast and checking out, we stopped to take photos of the coriander field below in the parking lot before heading back. We thought the clear sky today would make for beautiful photos.
