Hello everyone. Recently, I have seen many pictures and heard news about the "Warmth of Love, Relieve the Cold" event from my friends on various feeds. The event is held at the extraordinary location of Dusit Palace Plaza, which suggests that it must be organized by the palace itself. Moreover, there is a wide variety of food and activities available.

The highlight of the event is undoubtedly the opportunity to wear traditional Thai clothing. The event provides rental services for those who do not own such attire, offering a rare chance to experience the elegance of Thai dress. For those who have always wanted to wear a Thai outfit, this event is an unmissable opportunity.

On Sunday, February 18th, I was free, so I talked to my friend about what time we should go to the event. The event started at 10:00 AM, so we thought it would be better to go early so we could rent our outfits and walk around leisurely. We decided to meet up at 8:00 AM and take the Airport-link and then a shuttle bus from the Victory Monument to the event. However, when we left, we realized we had too much stuff, including cameras, bags, and umbrellas. We decided it would be better to drive because the route wasn't too difficult. So, we drove and parked at the Nang Loeng Racecourse because it was the closest parking lot.

The following is a translation of the provided text from Thai to English:

"I arrived at the racetrack around 9:15 AM and asked the security guard where to go. He pointed me to the swimming pool. It was easy to spot because there was a shuttle bus parked there. I parked my car in the building and got on the bus. It took me to the event in no time."

Nang Loeng Racecourse Station

9:30 AM - Within 10 minutes, we will arrive at the parking spot. It's very close by. Once you get off the car, turn left if you're coming from Nang Loeng Racecourse or Victory Monument. You won't get lost from other directions because there are staff members guiding you all the way. One thing I really like about this event is that the staff are very helpful and friendly. Everyone I spoke to was very welcoming. They deserve a perfect score!

Next, follow the bicycle path. We will reach the checkpoint for ID and sharp object inspection. However, before reaching the checkpoint, there will be a clothing stall. Please note that shorts and sandals are not allowed. If you are well-prepared, you can just walk past.

Follow the bike path.

Selling point of shirts and fabric labels

I was impressed when my gold chip ID card was scanned for the first time. The staff took my card and inserted it into their machine. Since I had never used a scanning machine before, I thought it might not work. However, the staff used an eraser to clean the strip, and it worked! I was so happy that my card was finally used.

The first thing to do upon entering the event is to rent a costume, which costs 250 baht. Initially, I was unsure of the location and number of rental shops. I came across the first shop, a booth within the event, which had a sign indicating that it rented Thai costumes but would not open until 12:00 p.m. However, after conducting some preliminary research, I discovered that there was another shop near the gas station. As a result, I continued my search and discovered the "Chailai Pracharat Costume Rental Shop." Upon entering, the staff informed me that they did not have the costume I desired. They recommended the "Jit Asa 904 Volunteer Costume Rental Shop," which is located behind the Royal Palace. We continued walking and concluded that we had likely seen all of the shops.

The map shows the locations of the stores.

The following is a picture of the shop after it has opened. (Thai dress rental opens at 12:00 PM)

This shop is located near the cinema and Jitlada School. It is a green tent.

10:00 AM - I arrived at the volunteer costume rental shop 904, which opened right on time at 10:30 AM. If you arrive early, make sure to line up in the correct queue. There are separate lines for men and women, and only about 15 people are allowed in at a time. Don't forget to bring your ID card and money. Also, men don't really need to queue because there are very few of them. "Men have all turned into women," one of the staff members joked. Haha!

The provided text is an empty paragraph containing only a line break. As there is no actual content to translate, the output remains the same:

11:30 AM - Finished getting dressed. Even though I arrived early in the queue, it took almost an hour to rent a costume. Life isn't easy, haha! Therefore, if I may suggest, "It's highly recommended to wear a Thai costume from home." Based on my observation, 60% of the people wore their costumes from home. This saves a lot of time. Otherwise, you might run out of time and not get the desired costume or color. Alternatively, you can rent a costume from outside the venue. One more thing, the 250 baht fee includes accessories and luggage storage.

"Upon exiting the store, I noticed a golf cart shuttle service. I'm unsure when it began operating, but I hopped on right away to save energy for exploring. Haha!"

Upon disembarking, I was greeted by two cavalry officers. A crowd had gathered and began taking pictures.

Continuing on, we reached the "Three-Way Junction Police Station" where they were playing music. It sounded like it might be royal compositions, but I'm not sure. It was pleasant to listen to.

Today, I had a goal to greet my older brother, but before I could meet him, I stopped by every place because there were so many angles to take pictures.

12:00 PM - Lunchtime. The food court is located on the left-hand side as you enter from the King Chulalongkorn equestrian statue. What I particularly like is the "food price signage." I find it to be transparent, allowing customers to make informed decisions before entering the restaurant. The food prices here are reasonable, ranging from 20 to 70 baht, and the taste is excellent. If you don't believe me, try it yourself.

Pad Thai, a bit sweet.

Add a charcoal burger to the order.

12:50 PM - After recharging, we continued our journey to the "TAT Theater". The name in Thai suggests that it's a Thai event. This booth was located near Chitralada School. We took some casual photos and unexpectedly received a queue ticket for an outdoor movie screening. As we approached the booth, we realized that there was a movie schedule displayed. We decided to watch a movie called "Thailand the North". We entered a small cinema, and as the movie began in English, the cool air and full stomach lulled me to sleep. Haha! However, I woke up in time for the ending. Upon exiting the cinema, we received another souvenir - a travel booklet covering all regions of Thailand. This was perfect for us!

13:20 - "Plucking the Wishing Tree" for 25 baht. I noticed the money and gold trees since this morning, but I didn't know that after noon they would be used for the grand prize Wishing Tree plucking. The prizes for both trees will be different. Go see for yourself what you want. Walk to the unnamed booth, and at the front of the booth, someone will mark your card. Then go inside and pluck. After looking at the prizes, don't forget to have the staff sew the card to the Wishing Tree. Then you can take it back to the booth to claim your prize. As for me, I was very lucky and got a prize that affects my mental state: a "consolation prize" of detergent, tea, and snacks.

"Big Prize Draw" The activity in the same booth costs 129 baht, but they will draw the prize on March 11, 2018. The prize is a car.

"Other activities that caught my eye included studio photography, a Thai dessert shop, changing of the guard, delivering mail, train tickets, performance activities, and flower displays. It would be better to experience these things firsthand. I hope this brief introduction will be helpful for those who enjoy traveling, as a guide or to stimulate their curiosity. Now, let's enjoy the photos."
