I had the opportunity to visit Lopburi during the hot season in early January. I had originally planned to see the sunflowers, but they had already wilted. The weather was hot, so I decided to find a place to relax. I walked around and found this restaurant that someone had recommended to me.

A hidden gem in the heart of Lopburi: Pela Plern Coffee Shop

Nestled on Ratchadamnoen Road, Pela Plern Coffee Shop is a small, easily overlooked haven for coffee lovers in Lopburi. This cozy café provides a perfect escape for those seeking a relaxing break near the city's main attractions and the train station.

Peering into the shop, one can see knick-knacks adorning the exposed brick walls. Despite the small size of the establishment, only a few customers were present, likely due to our visit occurring on a weekday afternoon.

A small shop with only a few tables, but customers come in steadily. If you're walking around and feeling hot and in need of a sweet treat, this is a great place to relax. Personally, I like the small, cute shops that are not too crowded. If it's full, just wait. In the evening, more people will start to come, especially students. The desserts and drinks are delicious.

Shockingly, the price was incredibly low, almost double that of Bangkok. Wow! They were selling it at this price? The ingredients were good, and it was delicious. We ate it all.

Our order consisted of a honey toast with mango seeds for 109 baht and a red soda with lime for 35 baht, totaling 144 baht. Wow, it's hard to find a toast for 144 baht in Bangkok.

The coordinates on Ratchadamnoen Road are unknown. However, it is located opposite the Lopburi Cooperative Office, facing the entrance to the Phra Prang Sam Yot temple.

Walk 200 meters to the left, you will see the cooperative. Cross the street to the other side, there are shophouses lined up.
