After a year of not writing and not traveling much, sometimes I even forget the feeling of traveling because I keep my photos for too long. This time, my family had the opportunity to make merit and worship Buddha during the Chinese New Year. I'm not sure if it's called a travel day, but we have to go every year. However, we usually go a week later to avoid the crowds. Even though we went later, it was still crowded. -.- Anyway, let's start. We left home around 10 am, and thanks to my dad's driving skills that were faster than a race car driver, we arrived at Wat Phra Phutthabat in Saraburi at 11 am. When we arrived, there was parking available, so no worries there.

Before entering, we encountered the giant's gate. However, due to heavy traffic, we had to quickly cross the gate and could only capture this image.

Taking a picture before going up to pay respects.

The following is a translation of the provided text from Thai to English:

As you walk up, you'll feel a bit Chinese, since it's Chinese New Year, right?

As he waited for his father to light the incense, he continued to take pictures.

Before entering the temple, let your father lead the way.

Removing shoes in preparation to enter and pay respects to the Buddha's footprint.

Let's stand together.

Auntie wants to go inside to make merit, but I'll wait downstairs.

Make merit.

Before leaving, everyone can stop by to buy souvenirs and snacks at the shop located in front of the giant's gate, next to the parking lot.

Contrary to popular belief, we will not be returning immediately. Instead, we will make a stop at the vegetarian temple to perform a meritorious act. To reach the temple, simply walk straight towards the parking lot and continue until you reach the end, where you will find an entrance.

Before entering the temple, there is a designated area for making offerings or paying respects.

Eating this will bring you good fortune.

The place was crowded, but there were plenty of seats available.

After finishing the meal, they headed to their next destination, which was…

The Thap Phutun Elderly Care Center is located just a short drive from the back of Wat Phra Phutthabat. There is a parking lot and a small market in front of the center.

Upon entering the gate, there is the first point where you must pay your respects. This area is right here.

Come a little closer and you will find another place to worship.

To make a donation to the elderly, please proceed to the left-hand side where a designated area has been set up. We have thoughtfully brought coins from home for this purpose.

Before leaving, it is customary to stop by the temple. Simply put, eat a little bit at a time.

Ultimately, Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, where I pray every year, is dedicated to the deity Cai Shen Ye Ye.

Farewell, a hastily written review, making the most of limited time.

I will review the photos that I haven't reviewed yet, and I will try to travel more often.

See you soon!
