Waking up this morning, I gazed out at the ocean view from my room. It was a beautiful sight, as the accommodation was located away from the city and had a small private beach. The pool was right next to the room, so I could just step out and take a dip, then go for a walk along the beach. Breakfast was included... staying at BEST WESTERN OKINAWA ONNA BEACH... a bit luxurious, but the price was affordable. A room for three people cost 5,000 Thai baht, including breakfast.

After enjoying the morning atmosphere and filling our stomachs, we continued driving. Today was another day with beautiful views along the way: the sea, cliffs, strong winds, and beautiful sunshine. Just three kilometers from our accommodation, we found another place to stop: CAPE MAEDA. We turned left and drove another kilometer to admire the stunning view of the cliff above the sea. This spot is famous for its blue cave diving, and even in the morning, there were almost a hundred divers preparing themselves.

The next stop, just 15 km away, is the most popular place in Okinawa… CAPE MANZAMO… the famous elephant trunk cliff… Of course, even though I went early in the morning, I still encountered a large number of tourists… I had to find the right timing to take pictures without getting the crowd in the frame.
The beauty and clarity of the Okinawan seawater is truly undeniable. Approximately four kilometers from Manzamo, there is a large food and souvenir shop on the left side of the road. The shop does not have a name, but you can use the GPS coordinates 0989823388 to find it. This shop sells snacks and souvenirs, and the upper floor houses a restaurant and cafe with stunning views for a reasonable price.
Continue driving north, enjoying the beautiful ocean views for about 40 km. During this stretch, you will encounter the Sesoko Bridge and a small port at the foot of the bridge. The view is stunning and perfect for capturing photos. I even flew my drone over the bridge for some aerial shots.
During my visit, I was fortunate to witness the remnants of Japan's first cherry blossoms in Okinawa. Typically, Okinawa is the first region to experience cherry blossoms before the mainland, during the months of January and February. I embarked on a drive up Mount YAE, covering a distance of 8 kilometers, in the hope of finding some lingering blossoms. To my delight, I discovered a small but beautiful display of cherry blossoms.
Leaving Mt. Yae and driving another ten kilometers, you will reach the famous tourist destination, CHURAUMI AQUARIUM. Many people know it because it is the fourth largest in the world. With children, it would be a delight to watch the two giant whale sharks in the tank. Two kilometers further on, we intended to see the Bise Cliff, but it turned out that the entrance was closed. We couldn't see it.
As evening approached, it was time to set off for our accommodation. Tonight, we will be staying on Yagaji Island, which is about ten kilometers away by car. We plan to sleep on the island to capture the morning sunrise. Stay tuned!
