Last night, I stayed at the HOTEL ROYAL PALM NAHA because of its convenient location on Kokusai Street, a popular tourist spot with many restaurants. The parking fee was around 300 yen, which is not expensive. This price meant that I didn't have to park illegally at a FAMILY MART last night.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there is a fish market just two kilometers away at Tomari Port. A five-minute drive will take you to fresh, affordable seafood and stunning views of the harbor. It's definitely worth it!
After a satisfying breakfast, it's time to head to the must-see tourist destination, OKINAWA WORLD, which is about 15 km from the port and takes a short time to reach. This morning, the sun is shining and the weather is pleasant. Information about these attractions is readily available, and Google can provide all the details. Here are a few small pictures to give you an idea.
Located in Okinawa World, I spent the morning there, having lunch at the same place. The last place I wanted to visit before heading back was the Shikina-en Garden, another World Heritage Site in Okinawa. I saved it for last because I thought it was just a garden, and if I didn't make it, it wouldn't be a big deal. However, I'm glad I did. It was beautiful! It's not a large garden, but it's truly stunning.
When visiting Okinawa, be sure to explore the SHIKINA -EN GARDEN.
This evening, I will be returning home. I have some time to spare, so I will go shopping at a 24-hour second-hand store.
At 5:00 PM, return the rental car to the original office where you picked it up. To avoid getting lost, mark the office location on your map before picking up the car. If you purchased the all-inclusive insurance, the return process will be quick and easy. You won't need to check anything, as the insurance covers any damage to the car, regardless of the severity. The entire return process should take no more than five minutes.
A company car will then take us to Naha Airport. If you still have time, you can wait and walk around or sit and rest in this building first. Because the LCC terminal of Peach Airlines, where we will check in, does not have enough seats....
After resting and shopping, I wiped myself down with a towel about an hour and a half before my flight's departure. I walked to the second floor of the building, where I exited through the front door and waited for the shuttle bus at stop number 4. Every ten minutes, a free shuttle bus arrives to take passengers to the LCC terminal. The journey is short, taking no more than ten minutes.
After checking in with the barcode from the booking email, I waited in line to board the plane at 9 pm. The flight arrived safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand at 2 am.
