Readme before you journey
Working continuously since after the New Year, I haven't had a chance to relax anywhere. In the blink of an eye, it's already summer. In this kind of summer, the first thing that comes to mind is the sea. For a Bangkokian like me, the easiest and most convenient sea to get to is #Pattaya. This short 2-day, 1-night trip made me feel so relaxed that I forgot all about my fatigue.

The hotel where Kaew will be staying today is Adelphi Pattaya. According to Tripadvisor reviews, it is considered a "Hidden Gem of Pattaya" due to its affordable price and excellent location. As you can see, it is surrounded by great restaurants and popular tourist attractions.

The left side of the first floor houses the restaurant and bar, which are open until 10 p.m.
Alright, we have the key. Let's go up and see the room. (Here, the key is a key card for both the elevator and the room. The security is quite high.)
The room that Kaew will be staying in is a Premier non-Balcony, which is approximately 40 square meters in size. This is considered to be quite spacious.
The room amenities are incredibly comprehensive, including a refrigerator, television, shoe cabinet, hairdryer, sofa, telephone, alarm clock, and much more. It's truly an abundance of amenities.
The bathroom is equipped with soap, shower caps, shampoo, face towels, and bath towels. You only need to bring yourself and your toothbrush.
After walking around the room, we put our bags down and the staff suggested that in the afternoon or evening, we should go up to the rooftop of the hotel to relax. There is a beautiful rooftop swimming pool with a bar serving beer and cocktails.
The majority of guests here are foreigners, although there are some Thai people as well. Westerners enjoy sunbathing, drinking beer, and reading books in a relaxed atmosphere during the afternoons and evenings. The breeze is very pleasant.
After a relaxing and comfortable sleep, it's already evening. I'll take my leave to grab something to eat. We're heading to the restaurant **Cabbages & Condoms, located about 5 kilometers from the hotel towards Khao Phra Tamnak.**
The atmosphere in this shop is pleasantly green. In fact, even the walkway leading in is quite lush.
The serene atmosphere, coupled with the cool sea breeze that blows constantly, makes it an ideal place to relax and unwind.
Alright, let's eat. I'm hungry. แก้ว ordered some simple dishes: 1. Seafood stir-fry with holy basil, 2. Seafood curry, 3. Tom yum soup with shrimp. Just these dishes with hot rice are enough to make me happy.

As night falls, we continue our journey to the Hilton Pattaya Hotel. However, we are not changing our sleeping arrangements.
Instead, we will visit one of Pattaya's most popular cocktail bars, Drift Bar.
The Drift Bar is located on the 16th floor of the Hilton Pattaya, or the hotel's Lobby floor. This floor has two zones: the indoor area and the outdoor Pool Sofa. This photo shows the view from the front of the bar.

The team and I enjoyed a few light cocktails.
It's just past 10 pm, and we're not feeling sleepy yet. So, we decided to change the atmosphere and go for a walk to find something to eat at Walking Street Pattaya.
Kaew is now at HOPS, which is located about 2-3 km from the hotel on Pattaya Walking Street.
The highlight of this place is the beer, which is brewed by the German owner himself. There are Lager and Wheat options, depending on your preference for aroma or taste.
A must-try is the thin-crust pizza with a wide variety of toppings, including Buffalo Chicken Wings. Enjoying it with a beer creates an authentic English Pub atmosphere.
After a satisfying meal, we returned to the hotel and sat by the pool for a while at night. The atmosphere was beautiful and slightly romantic, which was nice. (If only that crane hadn't been in the background.)
Okay, let's rest for tonight. Tomorrow morning, we'll wake up and have breakfast together.
Breakfast at Adelphi Pattaya offers a variety of options, including bread and jam.
There are salads and fruits.
Alternatively, for those who prioritize a hearty meal, options such as fried rice with ham and sausages are available.
And there are also omelets, scrambled eggs, or fried eggs that will be cooked by the staff for you to eat.
After a satisfying meal, it's time to check out and continue our journey. Our next destination is Nong Nooch Garden.

Moving on, we come to the French garden, which is also quite beautiful. However, it seems a bit cramped.
There are also many other interesting places, such as StoneHenge, AAA grade.
The newest and most exciting highlight of this place is the **magnificent Dinosaur Park**.
The dinosaurs are incredibly large and detailed, and there are a great many of them.
The little one is so cute.
