The first day in Holland passed… On the morning of the second day, after making breakfast ourselves by buying fresh food from a shop near our accommodation and preparing it the night before… We put it in the refrigerator and made it easily in the morning… It was time to go out and see the beauty again.
For today's itinerary, I opted for a northeasterly route from Amsterdam, encompassing three or four adjacent towns and an island. This approach minimizes driving time while allowing for exploration of clustered urban areas.
Day 2 itinerary: A. Volendam B. Edam C. Marken Island D. Monnickendam
We drove from our accommodation in the late morning to Volendam, a coastal town I had never heard of before. However, looking at the map, I saw that it was located by the sea, which seemed promising.
The 26km drive from our accommodation on the outskirts of Amsterdam was pleasant, and after a half-hour drive, we arrived at our destination. There was free parking by the sea, which was a welcome surprise. It's not often you find free parking these days.
Let the pictures speak for themselves.
Please translate the following sentence:
The city is clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant for walking. I came with my girlfriend... it's incredibly amazing... I guarantee it.
From this city, drive north for another 3km.......EDAM point B on the map is another city I've never heard of before....but it's a small town that I must say is very, very beautiful...as I type this, I can imagine the atmosphere of the city, it gives me goosebumps...it's very classically beautiful for me...especially in the early morning when there aren't many people, it's quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to walk around and see the city. The two parallel canals in the middle of the city create a wonderful atmosphere...traditional and modern houses line both sides of the canal....it's truly amazing.......Enjoy some of the pictures.
The sentence is already in English. Is there anything else I can help you with?
Besides the natural beauty, the houses, old churches, and the original charm are still abundant.
And of course, a must-have in almost every city... cheese products.
This morning, I had the opportunity to visit two cities. I must say, I fell in love with Edam. I wish I could have stayed longer, but time was not on my side. Even a brief encounter brought me great joy. Edam, I will cherish this memory.
