The arrival of summer brings with it the promise of another seaside adventure. This year, our destination is the idyllic island of Koh Nang Yuan.
This tour package includes accommodation for two people, six meals, a one-day diving tour, round-trip transportation, and round-trip boat fare. The departure point is on Thanon Sip Sam Hang in Bang Lamphu.
After a long car ride, we arrived at Tung Makham Pier around 5 am. We had breakfast, took care of personal needs, and then prepared to board the boat. Our boat was a large vessel with three decks. The first deck had seats in an air-conditioned room, while the second deck required an additional 100 baht fee for air-conditioned seating. We opted to sit outside on the second deck, enjoying the cool breeze and gazing at the vast ocean stretching as far as the eye could see.
After a journey of approximately one and a half hours, the large ferry brought us to "Nang Yuan Island". The crystal-clear water, bright blue sky, and blazing sun were a true testament to the "hot season". We decided to check into our room first. Our accommodation was located on a hill, which required a bit of effort to reach. However, upon arriving and witnessing the breathtaking view from our room, all fatigue vanished instantly.
Today's activity was swimming and going up to the viewpoint, which was the highlight of the trip. The path to the viewpoint is a wooden bridge that runs parallel to the sea. With the sun setting and the wind blowing, we walked comfortably without getting too hot.
Upon reaching the viewpoint, one is presented with a breathtaking panoramic view of Nang Yuan Island. This expansive island boasts three distinct sections separated by turquoise waters, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of azure and emerald hues.
On the second day, we went snorkeling around Koh Tao and Nang Yuan Island. Experiencing the underwater world and observing the marine life was a relaxing experience. We ended the day with a swim in front of Nang Yuan Island. In the evening, the island was practically ours, as most tourists had left, leaving only those staying on the island. The lack of tourists allowed us to swim freely and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
And that's all for the joy and impression of our trip to the sea at "Nangyuan Dive Resort" this time. Let's go eat and travel with "Pencil wants to write" again.
