A popular saying goes, "One place, one experience." Today, we will continue our journey from Loei province to Phetchabun province. Let's see how many experiences we can gain on this trip and what wonderful memories we can record.

Planning Well: A Guarantee for Success? (Really?)

Originally, before my trip, I had planned to visit Chiang Khan only, as I really wanted to immerse myself in the atmosphere of the town. I started researching Chiang Khan's attractions and then headed straight there.

Starting with affordable accommodation, there's no denying that everyone loves a good bargain. I recommend JJ Na Chiang Khan, which offers good quality at a budget-friendly price. The entrance might be a bit narrow, but it's not too bad. Cars can get in.

The first stop is to pay respects at Wat Chang Noi, which is about 500 meters from the resort.

Next, we visited the **Wat Phra Yai** (a must-visit for those who enjoy religious sites). From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of both sides of the Mekong River, accompanied by a refreshing breeze that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We spent quite some time here simply taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh air.

The highlights of Chiang Khan district, Loei province, are the Kaeng Khut Khu rapids and the Chiang Khan Walking Street. These are must-see attractions.

The next morning, at 6:30 am, I set out to participate in the sticky rice alms offering, a traditional Isan practice that everyone who visits the region should experience. The locals wake up very early here, with monks starting their alms rounds as early as 5:30 am. (I woke up a bit disoriented, but I made it in time for the alms offering, phew!)

This mountain peak is rumored to have stunning sea fog, but unfortunately, we weren't lucky today. There was no fog, only rain clouds gathering. No worries, let's head to Silver Buffalo Mountain instead.

Silver Buffalo Mountain is a peaceful place with a pleasant atmosphere. It is home to hundreds of rabbits and Honey, the health-conscious little pig. Everyone who visits falls in love with her. Her favorite food is water spinach.

The Chiang Khan travel plan is complete. I went back to the accommodation to check out and pick up my belongings to return. But in reality, I don't want to go back. So let's go to a nearby tourist attraction (smoothly). ^^

"I've never been here" Open a new experience, travel off the map, what will it be like? You have to try it!

"If you are happy with your journey today, you will feel how much the destination is worth waiting for."

Phu Ruea is a breathtaking stopover, with a field of vibrant yellow cosmos flowers set against the backdrop of towering mountains. The sight is so captivating that it effortlessly elicits a smile.

After leaving Phu Ruea, we drove along the scenic road, enjoying the views. Suddenly, we found ourselves in Phetchabun. Since we were already in Phetchabun, we decided to visit Wat Pha Sorn Kaew temple. (I'm a true devotee! 555) During our visit, the temple was undergoing renovations.

Continuing to drive, we saw the sign for Phu Thap Boek and decided to turn right away. We were curious to see what was there, as we saw so many people going there. Our first impression was "wow" at the winding, thrilling road. We think it's part of the charm. Just drive carefully and not too fast, and it's a lot of fun. If you're planning to stay overnight, be warned that accommodation prices at Phu Thap Boek are a bit expensive, around a thousand baht or more.

A vibrant morning at 6:00 AM. I woke up early to witness the local way of life. Sometimes, living a simple life in the heart of nature makes you forget about work. #It's more beautiful during the winter season than other seasons.

" What greater happiness is there than to do what one desires, to be in the place one wishes to be? Truly, happiness is already in our hands, the question is, how much time will we dedicate to it? "
