Chumphon Province is one of the most abundant provinces in Thailand in terms of marine resources.

However, many people may not know and think that this is just a passage to other provinces.

Today, I will take you to prove that this place will no longer be just a passageway.

Our journey to Ko Raan Ped and Ko Raan Kai in Chumphon: dangling our feet, feasting on crab, and encountering whale sharks.

The magnificent display of anemones was truly breathtaking. For just 1,500 baht, this experience was truly exceptional.

Snorkeling here offers the chance to encounter whale sharks without traveling far abroad. Additionally, you can enjoy crab dishes and fish spa treatments.

The journey for this trip began around 8:30 AM from the Ao Tung Pier, located at: https://goo.gl/mkVG8m

This trip can be enjoyed as a one-day trip or an overnight stay.

After a 15-minute boat ride from the mainland, we arrived at the islands of Ko Rahan Ped and Ko Rahan Kai.

This is the magnificent spectacle of the sea of flowers at Ko Raet Ped, Ko Kai, Chumphon Province.

This is the first time I've seen so many anemones. Just snorkeling, without having to dive down, I can already see the magnificent beauty.

There are many beautiful and cool photo spots where you can dive and take amazing pictures.

This area is also home to the adorable sea slug (nudibranch), but you might need to look closely to spot them.

Another amazing highlight of Ko Rhan Ped, Ko Kai in Chumphon Province is...

The gentle giant of the sea, the whale shark, is a magnificent creature that can grow up to 40 feet long. These filter feeders are harmless to humans and often swim alongside divers and snorkelers.

It is truly amazing to be able to snorkel and encounter whale sharks like this. This island is incredibly rich in biodiversity.

Whale sharks are wild animals, and sightings are not guaranteed. Encounters depend entirely on chance.

After diving, we relaxed and had lunch at Koh Vieng Island. We enjoyed crab while dangling our feet in the water and getting a relaxing fish pedicure.

Before leaving, there were also some extreme activities for us to enjoy. Let me tell you, it was a blast!

This is a one-day trip with Green Tour, which will take us to Ko Raet and Ko Kai for 1,500 baht per person.

In my personal opinion, it is definitely worth it, as they provide excellent service and offer free underwater photography.

For those who are interested in coming here, I highly recommend it. This place is truly beautiful, and if you're lucky, you might even encounter whale sharks. Even if you can't swim, you can still come, as the guides will take care of you throughout the experience.

Embark on a captivating evening voyage, setting sail as the sun begins its descent. As twilight paints the sky, venture out onto the open sea aboard a dedicated squid-fishing vessel. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the ocean as you cast your line, seeking the elusive cephalopods in the depths below.

This is another trip that is truly heartwarming and highly recommended for those who enjoy the ocean and diving.

Ko Raan Ped and Ko Raan Kai in Chumphon Province are two stunning and ecologically diverse islands.
