Where should we go this weekend?

After scrolling through countless travel pages, I finally settled on a destination: Chanthaburi province.

A short distance from Bangkok, this province offers a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With stunning views, a peaceful atmosphere, and a diverse selection of seafood rivaling Pattaya, it's the perfect weekend getaway. For our two-day, one-night trip, we opted for "I Din Homestay," where we could unwind and soak in the natural beauty.

Idin Homestay, a newly opened accommodation, is located in Nong Chimphli Subdistrict, Laem Sing District, Chanthaburi Province. If you have the opportunity to visit this place, you will surely be impressed. The highlight of this place is its peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by rice fields. During November, you will be able to witness the golden rice fields as the rice plants are in full bloom.

We arrived at our accommodation at noon, unpacked our belongings, and went for a walk to take some photos. It was then time for lunch.

The lunch prepared by the homestay included stir-fried squid with curry powder, stir-fried pork with cha-om leaves, sour curry with cha-om leaves and shrimp, chili paste with crab eggs, and omelet.

*** All dishes can be refilled as many times as you like.

After we finished our meal, it started to rain. We decided to return to our accommodation.

Each house is equipped with air conditioning, a television, and a private bathroom. In addition, there is a small balcony in front of the house next to the pool, with a hammock for sitting or lying down to enjoy the cool breeze.

After the rain stopped, while waiting to go rafting on the Pae River, we went out to paddle, play on the slide, and watch the red hawk.

In addition, there are activities such as jumping from a tower and ziplining into the pool. Let me tell you, it's a lot of fun. It might be a little scary, but I guarantee you'll enjoy it. This activity is especially popular among girls. ^^

After playing in the water and enjoying the rides, please do not shower or change your clothes yet. The homestay has a wet bamboo raft activity for us to continue our adventure. A tractor will take us to another location for the wet bamboo raft ride.

After returning from the soaking paper raft, watch the red hawk. Anyone who wants to play the rides can jump into the water again, or anyone who wants to go to the accommodation to take a shower and change clothes can do so. You can also recharge with dinner.

The dinner at Aidin Homestay is a must-try for seafood lovers. Featuring large prawns and jumbo crabs, the buffet offers an all-you-can-eat experience that will leave you satisfied. In addition to the seafood, the spread includes fried fish with fish sauce, tofu and minced pork soup, organic fish cakes, shrimp in fish sauce, and fresh oysters.

After a hearty and satisfying meal, we relaxed and enjoyed the scenery while chatting amongst ourselves. Feeling sleepy, we decided to call it a night and head back to our accommodations for some well-deserved rest.

The morning atmosphere at I Din Homestay is truly breathtaking. From the accommodation, you can witness the mist clinging to the mountains, creating a picturesque scene.

The sun is about to rise. It is said that the time when the light reflects on the water is very beautiful.

After waking up to the fresh morning air, let's fuel up with breakfast. The breakfast options here are plentiful, including Ovaltine, coffee, and seafood porridge.

Toast with jam/milk

Stir-fried crab with rice noodles

After we were full, we decided to take some photos. Let's take a look at some high-angle shots.

Across from Aidin Homestay, there are green rice fields. When the rice is ripe, the fields turn a beautiful yellow.

Our fun time has come to an end! After checking out, we stopped by a tourist spot before heading back to Chonburi. Our first stop was Wat Nong Chimphli, the temple of Luang Pho Thok.

The Immaculate Conception Church, located within the grounds of St. Mary's School (formerly a religious school), is a Roman Catholic church built in the Gothic style. Originally, the church had a pointed roof, but the尖顶was removed during World War II to avoid being targeted by air raids. The church is decorated with openwork wood, stained glass depicting Christian saints, and a statue of the Virgin Mary with a serene expression and a compassionate glow. The statue stands in front of the majestic Gothic facade, while the interior offers a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere with European-style decorations. This magnificent building has stood the test of time for over a century. The Immaculate Conception Church is not only the most beautiful church in the city, but also a center of faith for all Christians, not just in Chanthaburi but throughout the eastern seaboard.

Nang Phaya Viewpoint is widely considered the most stunning viewpoint in Eastern Thailand. Situated between Khlung Wiman Beach and Ao Kung Kraben Bay, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, mesmerizing sunsets, and the scenic coastal road winding along the shoreline.

The road near Nang Phaya Hill is renowned for its beauty. It is a two-lane road with a dedicated bicycle lane, as shown by the red lane in the picture.
