Late last month, I had the opportunity to work on Koh Chang. While there, I discovered a beautiful place that the locals call "Hat Chang Noi".
Despite visiting Koh Chang numerous times, I must admit that I had never heard of Klong Prao Beach before. This beach, surprisingly, is located less than 2 kilometers from the ferry pier. On each visit, I unknowingly passed by, unaware of the hidden beauty that lay within.
Klong Son Bay's Hat Chang Noi is a stunning beach stretching over a kilometer, reaching the headland of Laem Chang Noi. This beach boasts a wide expanse of sand, untouched natural beauty, and a tranquil atmosphere, a stark contrast to the bustling beaches elsewhere on Koh Chang.
The beach is known locally as "Haad Chang Noi," but it is not listed on the internet. The name "Haad Chang Noi" comes from the small mountain that resembles a baby elephant lying down on the north side of Koh Chang. This is the mountain you see in the picture.
This lone coconut tree stands out prominently, rising from the center of the beach. Its solitary presence evokes the image of a deserted island from a comic book.
This photograph was taken from the other side of Haad Chang Noi beach. As you can see, the beach stretches far into the distance, but there are very few tourists. The only people visible are foreigners, with the exception of some local villagers who are searching for crabs and fish in the area.
The sun sets at Haad Chao Noi, round and beautiful. As the sun sets and the wind dies down, we don't hesitate to run into the sea immediately.
Several beautiful resorts are located at Hat Chang Noi. You can search for details on Google, such as Siam Royal View, Marina Villas, New Koh Chang Villas, Little Sunshine Boutique, etc.

Gazing out from the Sands Resort pool, one encounters a breathtaking vista that evokes a sense of paradise.

Although it may appear quiet at first glance, don't be fooled! Haad Chang Noi offers a wide range of amenities, including restaurants and beach bars, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. However, unlike other beaches, Haad Chang Noi prioritizes tranquility, opting to forgo noisy water sports like jet skis and banana boats.
The northern part of the beach is Laem Chang Noi (see map above), a small park where you can see the sea on both sides, like a parted sea.
The breeze here is pleasant, and the shade of the trees helps block the sunlight. Even at noon, it's comfortable enough to sit and relax.
The water is crystal clear, but the beach on this side is mostly rocky. It's more suitable for soaking in the view and enjoying the breeze.
The Laem Chang Noi area boasts a beautiful harbor with stunning views.
To reach Haad Chang Noi, you can drive or rent a motorbike from the ferry pier. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will find the entrance to Siam Royal View on the right-hand side. The entrance is marked by a restaurant called Phakdi Bungalow. Turn into the alley and proceed for about 500 meters. Then, turn left into Siam Royal View. Follow the map to the parking area. Do not worry if you are not staying at Siam Royal View; all beaches in Thailand are public, and businesses in the area must provide public access to the beach.

Due to work commitments, I haven't had much time to gather detailed information. However, I have marked it as a priority to return to Haad Chao Noi as a tourist. I will then provide a comprehensive review of the accommodation, dining, and attractions.
The music video for "Happy Very Good" by Jonas Anderson featuring Boom Panadda was filmed primarily at Haad Chang Noi beach. The video showcases the stunning beauty of the beach in its entirety.
Please Like and Share this happy song. This is the first music video of Mask Mangkorn.
