Greetings to all readers. As it was Labor Day recently, and I am also a laborer, I took the opportunity to relax nearby. Coincidentally, there was a promotion to celebrate the holiday, so I booked a 2-day, 1-night stay at Veranda Resort Hua Hin Cha Am, a Sofitel hotel under the French Accor brand.

The resort is located in Cha-am district, more than 2 hours from Bangkok, before reaching Hua Hin city. Coming from Bangkok, it is on the left-hand side. Turn into the alley for about 400 meters. If you can't find it, you can use Google Maps. Parking is available and safe. It's not a deserted area.

It was already dark when we arrived at the resort, around 7 pm. The atmosphere was fantastic.

The resort's lobby is designed to be very relaxing, similar to the Veranda in Chiang Mai (as they share the same owner). It is truly beautiful and induces a profound sense of relaxation.

Checked in at 8pm and... hungry! Decided to have dinner here. The river prawn Caesar salad was amazing! It cost 200-300 baht, which is a good price for the quality.

...Deluxe King Bed room, 44 square meters!!!...

The staff was very friendly and helpful, even helping us carry our luggage to the room. After checking in, we walked to our room. This hotel only has 3 floors, and the rooms with sea views are more expensive. Our room today was a Deluxe room, the starting room type at this hotel. It is 44 square meters, which is quite large! (Large for me, at least.) The price is around 3,XXX per night.

The standout feature of Veranda, in my opinion, is the accommodations. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings (higher than many other places I've visited). The bathrooms are open-plan with sliding doors for privacy. The design is cohesive throughout, from the room colors to the furniture and decorative touches. The attention to detail is impressive.

Despite its simple appearance and decor, the room is well-equipped with everything you need, including tea, coffee, three bottles of water, a mini-bar, and a hairdryer. However, these amenities are all hidden inside cabinets within the room.

Another wide angle shot

I have stayed at Veranda Chiang Mai before. The bathroom there seems smaller than the one in Chiang Mai (in my opinion), but it looks more modern.

The bathtub has strong water pressure, perfect for creating a luxurious bubble bath.

The bathroom amenities are from THANN, a premium brand known for its herbal scents. The specific scent is lemongrass, which is very fragrant. This is likely consistent with the amenities offered at other Veranda properties.

A view of the room in the morning. I checked in after dark, so I took a picture during the day to show you. It's a comfortable place to sit and relax (although it's a bit hot).

The morning view from the same spot is still stunning.

Let's go have breakfast. The breakfast room is right next to the lobby.

...Breakfast at Veranda...

We have arrived! One thing I like about the breakfast room is that it has both an open-air and an indoor zone. You can choose whichever you prefer. If you're afraid of the heat, you can just walk inside.

This establishment offers both hot and cold coffee, which is fantastic because I need my iced coffee every morning. There's a wide variety of coffee options to choose from, so you're sure to find something you'll enjoy.

Or you can eat dim sum, there are also steamed buns, but I feel like it's too late, things are starting to run out.

The station has a variety of dishes, including eggs, savory dishes, and Thai food. Most of the dishes are Thai, such as stir-fried vegetables, rice porridge, and light dishes in the morning.

The dessert spread was extensive, but since we arrived late (around 9 am), some items were already running low.

The fruits are beautifully arranged, like an orchard.

In the end, I'm afraid of getting fat, so I only ate this much. 55555555555

...The Glass Room Espresso Bar ...

After a delicious meal, I highly recommend visiting The Glass Room Coffee Shop. The name is fitting, as the atmosphere is truly exceptional. I loved it! However, since I had just enjoyed coffee at the hotel breakfast, I decided to take some photos and save the coffee for later before my departure.

The interior is spacious, airy, and visually comfortable, with views of trees surrounding the building.

Enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the scenic views and admiring the birds and trees. Relax and stay as long as you like. This is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts!

The Food and Ambiance

The cafe offers a limited but enticing selection of cakes, with generous portion sizes that appear to be worth the price. The cafe space is air-conditioned and shares a common area with the spa and fitness facilities, which were not photographed. These facilities are located in separate rooms.

The Magnificent Oceanfront Pool

The resort boasts a stunning swimming pool that seamlessly blends with the oceanfront, creating a truly breathtaking experience.

A Tranquil Escape to the Sea: A Journey Through the Tree Tunnel

Taking a break in Hua Hin wouldn't be complete without experiencing the allure of the sea. Whether it's the sight, the fresh air, or a refreshing dip in the water, the ocean offers a rejuvenating escape. This tree tunnel serves as a picturesque pathway leading to the swimming pool and the beach, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the coastal bliss.

This swimming pool deserves a score of 200 out of 100. It's incredibly well-designed and executed, leaving nothing to be desired. The atmosphere is simply irresistible, making it impossible not to take a dip. The pool area features lush greenery and large trees that provide ample shade, creating a cool and refreshing ambiance perfect for lounging all day long.

The swimming pool area alone offers countless opportunities for underwater selfies. There's also a water tunnel under a large tree by the pool (seriously, a really big tree). In the middle of the gray area, there's a fountain where you can sit or lie down in the middle of the pool and let the water massage you. It's so relaxing.

Poolside Bliss: Sipping Smoothies and Soaking Up the Sun

A poolside bar, a refreshing smoothie in hand, and the sun warming your skin – who needs anything else? This idyllic scene makes it easy to understand why you wouldn't want to leave.

This water tunnel is a must-visit attraction.

…Scenic Viewpoint and Selfie Spot…

The resort owner deserves praise for their meticulous design and understanding of modern consumer behavior. They have created a stunning and flawless observation deck within the resort, offering guests a breathtaking view of the sea from a wooden walkway. Whether guests choose to take photos, sit, lie down, or take selfies, they are free to do so to their heart's content!

Absolutely stunning! Every angle is breathtaking, making every penny spent on this trip worthwhile.

The view of the horizon is clear, it's really good at this point, this feeling...

...SEA Restaurant......

Restaurant Atmosphere

The name says it all: "SEA" is a beachfront restaurant.

With only 5-6 tables, the menu is limited, but perfect for enjoying the view while sharing a light meal, catching up with friends, or even proposing. The choice is yours.

Whether you want to sunbathe, swim, or simply stroll along the beach, feel free to do as you please. The vast expanse of the beach provides ample space for everyone. As you can see, the beach is incredibly wide. However, I'm afraid of getting tanned, so I'll pass for now. I'll come back later in the evening.

This image captures the resort's lush greenery, with trees strategically placed throughout the property. With only 118 rooms (according to the website), the resort maintains a peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere. The attentive staff ensures personalized service and privacy. For those seeking a secluded getaway with minimal crowds and a tranquil setting, this resort is highly recommended.

...Summary...

Value for money 10/10. Affordable price for a 5-star resort. Excellent service, location, and spacious rooms with high ceilings. In my opinion, it's worth it.

The food was delicious, with a 9/10 rating. Dinner was particularly enjoyable, especially the Caesar salad with river prawns. However, breakfast was a bit light, and I would have preferred a more substantial and filling option.

The service was impeccable, scoring a perfect 10/10. Perhaps due to the limited number of rooms, the staff was attentive and courteous, readily assisting with any request.

Location 10/10. You can say I'm biased, but I love the location. Although it's not in the heart of Hua Hin, the sea here is very peaceful. Arriving at night, it's very quiet and not deserted. It's less than 400 meters from the main road. There are Family Mart and 7-Eleven at the entrance of the alley. It's a real resort for relaxation. You can sit and lie down here all day long.

Overall, if you are looking for a peaceful, stylish, and affordable place to relax, I highly recommend this resort. For more information, please visit the resort's website directly at www.verandaresort.com.
