Hello, during the Songkran festival from April 12-16, 2018, I had the opportunity to travel to the southern region of Thailand. This trip was with five friends, and we drove down south.
This trip, I specifically set out to capture photos. Many of my friends are probably having a blast playing Songkran.
The driver remarked that the roads in the south were surprisingly uncongested during their journey. They were also surprised to learn that Songkran celebrations in the south are limited to a single day, April 13th, which they found perplexing.
Thank you to my fellow travelers, Tit, Ya, Him, and Art, for joining me on this adventure through the southern region. I appreciate your company and the memories we made together.
Note: Thank you, Ms. Pawina, for taking pictures of the stars with me in Nakhon.
Thank you, Akaradet, for picking me up at Nong Talay.

Let's begin the viewing.
The first day, I planned to drive all the way to Nakhon Si Thammarat, but I didn't make it in time, so I stopped at Pak Nam Chumphon just as the elephants were coming up.
Sitting and watching the sky, gazing at the mountains, with feet soaking in the water at Khao Kiri Wong.
Nestled in the heart of Thailand, Kiree Wong village boasts the title of "the village with the best air in Thailand." Located in the Khlon Lon sub-district of Lanska district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, this hidden gem offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
As a must-visit destination, Kiree Wong captivates visitors with its pristine natural beauty. The village is renowned for its year-round fresh air, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking rejuvenation and relaxation. The abundance of streams and rivers provides a tranquil setting for swimming and soaking in the cool waters. As the sun begins its descent, the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant colors, creating a breathtaking sunset spectacle that can be enjoyed from the bridge. With its close proximity to the city, Kiree Wong offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse oneself in the serenity of nature without venturing far from urban conveniences.
I went out to take pictures of the stars at a national park in the middle of the night. I can't remember the name of the park, haha.
This is a newly constructed site in a southern city with numerous Buddha statues. Upon entering, one can sense a profound tranquility.
The sky is exceptionally clear today, offering a stunning view of the constellations. Capture the celestial beauty from various angles, as you please.
We welcome the morning light in Phatthalung, where the sunrise is a marvel to behold. The traditional fishing method of "ยกยอ" adds to the charm of this enchanting place.
The golden light of dawn at Pak Pra. Every morning, villagers raise their nets, which are set up along the riverbank. These nets are rectangular in shape, with four corners tied to a pole for lifting. The nets come in various sizes to accommodate different catches. Here, you can hire a boat to explore the natural beauty of the Thale Noi wetland up close. Alternatively, you can opt for a scenic walk on the concrete bridge.
As I capture these stunning moments, I find myself falling deeper in love with the southern region. The beauty and serenity of this place are truly captivating.

Oops! I was startled. I thought it was someone else... It's just me. I'm sitting here waiting for the sunset at Pak Meng Beach, swatting mosquitoes as I wait.
Pak Meng Beach, a beach in Thailand, is located in Mai Phat Subdistrict, Sikao District, Trang Province.
At midnight, the stars were extinguished as usual at the Maha That Wachiramongkol Temple (Bang Thong).
Early in the morning, we came to admire the sunrise at Nong Talay.
Nong Talay, where there is more than just the sea...
Nestled in the heart of Krabi province, Nong Thale is a newly emerged tourist destination that has captivated the hearts of photography enthusiasts. This picturesque lagoon boasts breathtaking scenery, especially during the early hours of the morning. As the sun peeks over the horizon, the Adjik trees burst into bloom, showering the ground with a vibrant carpet of golden petals. The tranquil waters of the lagoon are adorned with a gentle mist, creating an ethereal and otherworldly ambiance. The surrounding limestone mountains, with their towering peaks and unique formations, serve as a majestic backdrop, reflecting the essence of Krabi's natural beauty.
You can go boating, but there are no oars, so you can only take pictures. Otherwise, you won't be able to return to shore.
Gazing into the distance, one can see mist floating on the water's surface, a truly breathtaking sight.

The trees contrasted with the golden morning light and had a reflected shadow. It was a great feeling.
On the way back, I relaxed at Ao Tung Makham in Chumphon Province.
The last picture. Let's pose with my fellow travelers. Thank you for watching.
