Khao Yai: Lam Ta Khong: Camping, Birdwatching, and Sunrise Viewing

This trip was nothing special, as many of you may know, the Lam Takhong campsite is located in Khao Yai National Park. This was my second visit, and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere, environment, and nature remain the same every time I visit.

Upon arrival, the rain started pouring heavily before we even had a chance to park the car. Fortunately, it only lasted about half an hour. We then had to quickly set up the tent and take care of personal needs before darkness fell.

Camping sites are available in various locations, including by the stream, near the pond, next to the pavilion, and close to the restrooms.

This evening's dinner, with the gentle rain falling, has to be this. 5555 It's delicious and goes perfectly with the atmosphere.

For those who are camping, there will be a convenience store and a restaurant available. However, please note that the store will only be open during designated hours. It is recommended that you bring your own supplies, as you will be responsible for taking your trash with you when you leave. If you do not want to take your trash with you, there are designated trash disposal points provided by the park.

And there is also a coffee shop.

Beware of the local wildlife. Keep your belongings and food secure, as they are known to break into tents to steal.

The bathrooms and showers are convenient, especially when there are not many people. However, be warned that the water is extremely cold.
