Hello everyone! Today, I will take you to experience another side of Bangsaen. When it comes to Bangsaen, many people think of the sea, the city of lights, and the abundance of entertainment venues. But few people know that there is another side waiting for everyone to discover...
I passed the entrance exam for a famous university in this area, so I had to move to Bangsaen. From the day I passed the exam until now, I have been living in Bangsaen for almost a year. From the first day until now, there is hardly a day that I don't go to an entertainment venue. I wake up and go to class, sometimes on time, sometimes not. Every day, my life is a loop, and I believe that there are hundreds or thousands of lives that are like mine. Many of us are lost in the bright lights, as they say, "The black magic of Bangsaen," which only gives you temporary happiness. Many of us still don't know what the other side of Bangsaen is like, the side that will make you fall in love with Bangsaen, the side that will make you experience the lives of the Bangsaen villagers, and feel the smiles they give so sincerely. Today, I will take everyone to Nong Mon Market, the market of smiles. :)
It's 6:00 AM and I haven't slept yet. Haha! If I had gone to sleep, I wouldn't have had the chance to visit Nong Mon market. So, I decided to wait for the market to open and then go back to sleep. I've heard the name "Nong Mon market" many times, but I've never been there. Today, I decided to check it out and take some photos with my iPhone to share with my friends. I took a red taxi because it starts running at 5:00 AM. I was a bit worried about getting lost since it was my first time, haha! I asked the elderly passengers where to get off, and finally, I made it!
Upon arrival, I wasted no time in exploring the market. However, my energy quickly depleted, prompting me to search for sustenance within the market's vast array of culinary offerings. After much deliberation, I settled on a bowl of congee.
The text describes a visit to a market, specifically mentioning a porridge shop called "ร้านโจ๊กเจ๊น้อย." The author notes that this was the only porridge shop they found and that it is located in the food section of the market. The other side of the market is dedicated to fresh produce, and the food stalls are all clustered together. The author praises the variety and quality of the food available, stating that every stall offers delicious options. After enjoying a meal, the author encourages the reader to explore the rest of the market.
Nong Mon Market: A Feast for the Senses
Nong Mon Market boasts two distinct sections: one dedicated to fresh seafood, the other to delectable culinary delights. The seafood section offers the freshest catches, brought straight from the sea to the market stalls. The food section, meanwhile, is a haven for gourmands, with every stall offering a unique and mouthwatering experience.
The central area of the market is a treasure trove of culinary delights, ranging from fragrant curries and savory rice dishes to an array of traditional Thai sweets and desserts. Early risers can witness the daily alms-giving ceremony, a deeply ingrained tradition in Thai culture. Locals gather in the central area, offering food to the monks as they pass by. Conveniently, offerings are readily available for purchase within the market itself, allowing visitors to seamlessly participate in this meaningful ritual.

It didn't take long to finish scooping. I spent the rest of my time experiencing the lives of the people of Bangsaen. There were grandparents who came to shop, some were vendors, and some even joked with each other across the street. 555+ Seeing that, I couldn't help but smile. It made the people who came to the market happy with those things. For those of you who haven't experienced this side of Bangsaen, try waking up early and experiencing this kind of life. You'll definitely come back for more, just like me. Now it's time to go home. My stomach is full and my eyelids are getting heavy. If you've been there, don't forget to share your experience. We'll see you again at "Nong Mon".
