Xin chào! Hôm nay chúng ta hãy chào nhau theo kiểu Việt Nam nhé!

Our review today will be about none other than Dalat City, a city located in southern Vietnam (as featured on TV Champion).

Today, we will take you to visit the most popular place in Da Lat, where everyone who comes to Da Lat must stop by to take photos. Anyone who visits Da Lat must have a photo with the hydrangea field to take back home.

Come, gather around. Let's listen to how we got here and what we can do here.

- There are no money exchange services at Dalat Airport. If you need to exchange currency, you can do so in Dalat city, although it may be difficult to find. It is recommended to exchange currency in Thailand before your trip. As for how much money to bring, it depends on your individual trip. However, if you are only going for a few days, 3,000-4,000 baht should be sufficient.

- Dalat Airport does not sell SIM cards. If you need to buy one, you can find them in the city. However, if you only need internet access, you don't need to buy a SIM card at all. The city offers free Wi-Fi everywhere, from hotels and cafes to ordinary rice shops.

  • Affordable accommodations in Dalat. Most hotels do not have air conditioning due to the cool climate.

Transportation options in Da Lat include motorbike rentals, starting at around 100 baht per day, and taxis. For a more comfortable experience, consider renting a car with a driver. While this option may be more expensive, it can be cost-effective for groups.

- Drones are not allowed in Da Lat city.

- The food here is mostly bland, but not bad.

- This city has a lot of cafes. Sometimes even ordinary people's houses are cafes. Every cafe will serve a cup of hot tea when we arrive.

- Fly direct if you can. Trust us, spending time in this city alone is worth it.

We flew from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City with AirAsia. There are many airlines to choose from for flights to Ho Chi Minh City, with varying prices. However, we prioritized affordability and chose AirAsia, which cost just over three thousand baht for a round-trip ticket. This price was without any advance planning. If we had planned our trip better, the price would have been even lower. For those planning a trip to Dalat, we recommend flying directly if the price is not too high. In our case, the round-trip flight to Dalat was almost eight thousand baht, so we decided to visit Ho Chi Minh City first. However, if you want to avoid the hassle and save time, flying directly is the better option.

Landing in Ho Chi Minh City, we took advantage of our layover to explore the city before continuing our journey to Dalat.

As the flight time approached, we checked in at the airport and boarded the plane to Da Lat. The flight took only 50 minutes, and we arrived at Lien Khuong International Airport. The airport is located about 30 kilometers from Da Lat city. After collecting our luggage, we prepared to continue our journey to Da Lat city center by public transportation, such as buses and taxis. We opted for the bus service, which was a small van similar to a minibus. The fare was less than 100 baht, around 70 baht if I recall correctly. The bus would stop in front of the airport. You can approach the driver and inquire if the bus is going to Da Lat. If so, purchase a ticket and board the bus. The journey to Da Lat city takes approximately 30 minutes.

Dalat: A Picturesque Destination for Thai Tourists

Dalat, a captivating city nestled amidst scenic landscapes, has become a popular tourist destination for Thai travelers. Its picturesque views, charming architecture, and pleasant climate make it an ideal getaway. Situated on a plateau, Dalat is surrounded by rolling hills, serene lakes, and lush forests.

The city boasts a refreshingly cool climate throughout the year, offering a welcome respite from the tropical heat. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a gentle breeze carrying a hint of coolness. As evening descends, the city transforms into a vibrant hub of activity, with bustling night markets attracting locals and tourists alike.

After exploring the night market, we returned to our accommodation to rest and recharge for our journey to our next destination the following day.

Waking up to the cool morning breeze and enjoying a cup of the renowned Dalat milk, known for its deliciousness.

After showering and getting dressed, we went to enjoy the meal prepared by the hotel. Once we were full, we rented a motorbike from the hotel to explore the city.

Traveling in Dalat offers tourists various transportation options. Renting a motorbike for self-driving, hailing a taxi, or even chartering a car with a driver are all viable choices depending on individual preferences and budget. For larger groups, chartering a car with a driver might be a more convenient option, although it comes with a higher price tag. Ultimately, the choice depends on individual needs and preferences.

In our case, we opted for the seemingly relaxing option of renting a motorbike (although, in reality, it wasn't as relaxing as we had anticipated).

And finally, we arrived at the Hydrangea Garden Da Lat.

This is what made us decide to come to Dalat because we saw pictures and thought, "Wow! It's beautiful! We have to go there!" We want to take pictures in the hydrangea field and pose like in The Sound of Music.

🤣 Hahaha.

This is a very popular spot. If you come to Dalat, you must take a picture with the hydrangeas here.

The hydrangeas here are remarkable for blooming all year round, so you won't be disappointed no matter when you visit.

If you're looking for a chic photo with a hydrangea field like this, we recommend booking a direct flight to Dalat right away.

You will surely love it and will not be disappointed.
