Come visit Bangsaen 🏝
Sipping coffee while admiring the sea, chilling out to the sound of the waves.
Have you ever had an inexplicable urge to visit the sea? A yearning to gaze upon its vast expanse, to listen to the rhythmic crashing of waves, and to inhale the salty air? Driven by this sudden desire, we packed a small backpack and set off in search of a nearby beach. Our destination: Bang Saen.
Shortly after leaving work, we felt bored and depressed, wanting to go on a trip. Coincidentally, a friend was working in Chonburi, so we decided to take a trip to change the atmosphere and find a relaxing place to stay near Bangsaen. We booked accommodation at Marina Seaview a few days before our trip, simply because we wanted a place where we could see the sea when we woke up in the morning.
Travel: Take the BTS Skytrain to Ekkamai Station.
Bangkok - Bangsaen (Burapha University) van, 100 baht
We can either call a motorbike taxi to take us to Won Napa Beach, or we can walk there ourselves.
The third-floor room has a balcony with chairs for relaxing, enjoying the sea view, and listening to the sound of the waves.
Price 1,650 Baht including breakfast for two guests.
Don't miss out!
Saturday and Sunday, Laem Thaen Market. Delicious food, cute clothes and necessities.
Sailor's house is a very inviting place (unfortunately, we encountered rain during our visit).
Jones Salad offers delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and live music from various bands.

Depart from Bangkok by van (Ekkamai Bus Terminal). Vans depart regularly throughout the day. For the return trip, simply call the same number.
Tell the driver to drop you off at Bangsaen Roundabout. From there, you can take a leisurely stroll to Wonnapha Beach. If you don't feel like walking, you can always hop on a motorbike taxi.
Marina Sea View: A Cozy Retreat by the Beach
Marina Sea View is a small, intimate accommodation nestled on the corner of two commercial buildings. Situated near the older phase of the development, it is separated from the beach by a road. The atmosphere of the accommodation is warm and inviting.
Gazing at the sea, listening to the waves to soothe my longing.
The third-floor balcony offers a full, unobstructed view of the sea.
The cafe is located below the accommodation, but you have to walk to the side of the building to order. I stood there confused for a long time.
We ordered an iced green tea with milk, which was a bit too sweet but still tasted good.
Strolling along the beach, I stopped for some snacks along the way. The auntie selling squid was secretly charging a bit more, though.
Walking to the fish market, the beach on this side is not very clean. There is a lot of garbage.
Near the fish market, there is a great place to relax with a nice atmosphere. However, it was drizzling so we didn't stop by. The name of the place is Sailor's House, and it's located at the end of the beach.
In the evening, my friends picked me up and we went to a restaurant called "Pirate" for dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. (Unfortunately, my battery died so I couldn't take any pictures.)
Note: At night, the sidewalk along the beach from Bangsaen Beach to Wonnapha Beach is a popular spot for Bangsaen residents to spread out mats and relax. People gather from dusk until dawn. Anyone who wants to join is welcome.
Waking up to the view of the sea from the window and the birds chirping on the balcony.
This is an empty paragraph.
Breakfast is served at the accommodation, with a choice of ABF or rice porridge, along with a snack and beverage bar.
Fishermen walk out to display their fresh catch of seafood for sale along the roadside, facing Wonnapha Beach.
This is a great way to relax. Our relaxation is to not have too many activities, and to spend more time with the things around us.
It's time to return to the familiar world after a refreshing and energizing journey. When I'm weary, I'll return to Bangsaen to recharge.
