Memories of the On On Hotel in Phuket's Old Town
The hotel is the first in Phuket to be renovated in a contemporary style, blending Western and Eastern art while preserving its Sino-Portuguese architectural heritage. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a stunning display of red lanterns, a grand piano, and a lounge area adorned with intricate Chinese and Western stucco patterns.
Upon entering, the reception counter is directly ahead, with stairs leading to the dining area and guest rooms flanking both sides. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, from the first day of check-in until our departure.
We left our bags and went for a walk without any problems. When it rained, umbrellas were provided. We were very impressed.
While the exterior may appear antiquated, reflecting the city's historical character, stepping inside the hotel transforms your perception entirely. The interior boasts a welcoming ambiance, with well-ventilated spaces that create a sense of openness and comfort. Notably, the hotel offers complimentary snacks around the clock, with variations between daytime and nighttime offerings.
Despite being open for a long time, the hotel remains highly popular among both Thai and international tourists.
For those visiting the Phuket Old Town area, we highly recommend staying here. It's conveniently located near the walking street, restaurants, cafes, various shops, and popular photo spots that are a must-visit for any tourist.
