Hello, world!

As the long weekend approaches, many of us are looking for ways to recharge and find inspiration for work and life. One great option is to explore the beautiful destinations that Thailand has to offer.

Just a short distance away, Khao Yai National Park in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province (also known as Korat, the city of Ya Mo) offers a perfect escape. This stunning location provides a wealth of opportunities to connect with nature, find peace, and discover new perspectives.

A Relaxing Getaway to Khao Yai: Embracing Nature's Embrace

The crisp air of late autumn, a gentle breeze carrying the scent of pine, and the vibrant hues of nature painting the landscape – these are the hallmarks of a perfect escape to Khao Yai, a haven just a few hours from the bustling city of Bangkok. This trip was not about reaching a specific destination, but rather about immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the mountains and letting nature's embrace soothe our souls.

With the crowds thinned by the changing seasons, we found ourselves amidst a serene landscape, where the verdant foliage stretched as far as the eye could see. The journey itself was a delight, taking us through winding roads and offering glimpses of the natural beauty that awaited us.

As we ventured deeper into the heart of Khao Yai, the air grew cooler, carrying the promise of a refreshing respite from the city's heat. The towering trees stood as silent guardians, their branches adorned with vibrant leaves, creating a canopy of emerald green overhead. The symphony of birdsong filled the air, adding to the enchanting ambiance.

With each step, we felt the weight of the city lifting from our shoulders, replaced by a sense of calm and rejuvenation. The gentle rustle of leaves beneath our feet, the soft chirping of crickets, and the distant call of a bird – these were the sounds that accompanied us on our journey.

As the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the landscape, we found ourselves drawn to a secluded clearing. Here, we spread out a blanket and settled down to enjoy a simple picnic, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature.

As darkness enveloped the mountains, the stars emerged, twinkling like diamonds scattered across the velvet sky. The silence was broken only by the occasional hoot of an owl or the distant howl of a dog. It was a moment of pure serenity, a reminder of the vastness and wonder of the natural world.

Our trip to Khao Yai was a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was a chance to reconnect with nature, to find solace in its embrace, and to return home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

The Beginning

As a novice reviewer embarking on my first travelogue, I sought accommodation with a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains. My search led me to The Peano Resort in Khao Yai, where I yearned to be enveloped by the embrace of nature.

With only two days and one night to spare, the scenic beauty of The Piano Resort was well worth the arduous journey over the bumpy dirt road. Although Google Maps led us astray with its well-intentioned but rough shortcut, the off-road adventure served as an unexpected test of our vehicle's resilience. The resort itself did not disappoint, offering breathtaking million-dollar views.

After checking in, it's time to explore the surrounding area. There is a swimming pool and some guest rooms that may still be empty. Most of the guests are Thai tourists, and we are one of them. Hehe.

Now, let's take a look at the overall atmosphere.

The view is stunning and the weather is fantastic. (Seriously, it's incredible!)

The outdoor swimming pool allows you to showcase your swimming prowess. More importantly, the piano patterns are exquisite.

Crystal clear water!! Let me take a selfie with the frangipani flower.

The overall image of The Piano Hotel truly lives up to its name.

I'm starting to get hungry now!!!

After a long journey, it was time to satisfy our rumbling stomachs. We searched the internet for the best places to eat in Khao Yai and stumbled upon several enticing options. With only one stomach to fill, we opted for a single restaurant, prioritizing Thai cuisine. After driving around for what felt like an eternity, we finally settled on Krua Chan Pa, located near the entrance to Khao Yai National Park. The food was delicious, and we were so engrossed in the meal that we forgot to take pictures.

Escape Khao Yai Hotel: A Culinary Adventure

The blurry image is a testament to the photographer's growing hunger, their stomach rumbling impatiently as they urged the vendor to hurry up with the grilling.

This anecdote sets the stage for a culinary exploration of Escape Khao Yai Hotel, where the focus is on savoring delicious pizzas.

They visited the Escape Khao Yai Hotel and the Green Oak Bistro, which is located within the hotel. They heard that the pizza was amazing, so they decided to try it out.

"SKP's grilled chicken is incredibly delicious! Highly recommended. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the dipping sauce is excellent. It comes with a side of non-spicy Thai papaya salad and crispy rice crackers, which complement the dish perfectly."

How was your trip to Khao Yai?

This trip was primarily focused on eating, with a slight deviation from the theme due to the spontaneous nature of the exploration. Despite the lack of a clear direction, the late rainy season and early winter embrace of Khao Yai provided a wonderful opportunity to breathe fresh air. If anyone has any recommendations for hidden gems in the area, please share them! I'll be sure to share more details about the trip in the future.
