Instead of long trips, let's take frequent short trips, like a 2-day, 1-night getaway to "Sukhothai," the ancient city, to unwind and recharge.
For this trip, we opted for a relaxing getaway in Sukhothai, a city renowned for its excellent air quality. Our destination was Baan Rai Chay Khao Homestay, nestled amidst the lush rice paddies of Na Ton Chan, owned by Mr. Wiroj.
The campaign has begun in earnest in Bangkok.
This trip will be tiring, so it is recommended to bring a friend or close person to take turns driving. The journey takes 6-7 hours. I can't recommend a specific route, but I remember using a navigation app and following the directions.
...Let's warp to the ancient capital of Sukhothai, the city of dawn and happiness, with a rich history spanning over 700 years.
The first place to visit after the gas station and the delicious Thai noodle shop, Ta Pui (highly recommended), a landmark spot for Facebook check-ins, is the Sukhothai Historical Park, which is easy to find. Just drive 12 kilometers from the noodle shop, Ta Pui (still craving it).
Located in the Muang Kao Subdistrict (Muang Kao Subdistrict Municipality).
The ancient temple we were eager to photograph on this trip was Wat Si Chum, home to a large Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture known as "Phra Achana." If you've ever heard the tale of the talking Buddha statue, you'll likely recognize this temple.

The group, after offering prayers, taking photos, and creating a landmark, rushed towards the village of Na Tan Chan. They hoped to catch the sunset over the mountains, as it was already nearing dusk when they left the Sukhothai Historical Park. The journey to Na Tan Chan took over an hour, with some detours due to getting lost, making it almost two hours in total. They were cutting it close with the fading light.
Nestled within the village, a myriad of landmarks beckon, inviting visitors to capture memories and engage in a plethora of activities. Among these, one cannot overlook the unforgettable experience of my partner's cycling gang, who expertly guided us through the village's hidden paths, ensuring we explored every nook and cranny.

--->The highlight of the trip was the sunset at the end of the village. As tourists, we were eager to see how beautiful it would be.
Another must-try activity is weaving khit-patterned fabric and fermenting mud, a famous OTOP product of Ban Na Ton community. It's not easy to create a patterned flower, so I fumbled for a while before smiling and asking the auntie, "Can I weave so others can continue?"
Let's continue cycling for a long time. At this point, we start to leave the village and head towards the end of the village. Don't miss this spot! It's highly recommended for those who like to take photos in a hipster style, with backlighting and unusual angles. Imagine yourself in a large lavender field, flying amidst nature, like those daydreamers. Try zooming in and having your friend take a backlit photo of you for a cool, slide-like photo like this. ^^... Anyway, let's get out of the thorny bushes and watch the sun set behind the mountain.
Two young local guides led us on a bike ride through the rice fields to watch the sunset at the edge of the village. A thin mist began to settle over the fields, blanketing the landscape. The air grew cooler, and other tourists from nearby villages arrived to capture the sunset. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful.
Our stomachs growled as we arrived at the village, realizing we hadn't checked into our accommodation yet. We cycled around until sunset, when Mr. Wirot picked us up on his motorbike and took us to our homestay.
The charmingly named "Baan Rai Chay Khao Na Ton Chan Sukhothai" homestay welcomed us with a delicious spread of local dishes laid out on a traditional "khantoke" tray. The food was incredible, and the owner's cooking skills were top-notch. We ate so much that we had to loosen our belts! Unfortunately, we didn't capture the dinner feast on camera.
The accommodation was reasonably priced at 600 baht per person. Our house had two rooms, and the owner offered exceptional privacy and a personalized experience. They only accept one group per house, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. We loved this aspect, as it allowed us to relax, sleep in, and enjoy the tranquility.

Where there is complete darkness, there will be stars. Where there are stars, there will be the "Milky Way" for us to hunt. But we have to look at the angle, direction, and path carefully. Because the elephants come out at different times each month. Wow, the big recommendation is typed so well!! I just remember it. This time I got to practice taking pictures, taking stars, and views from our guru, Mr. Wirot. Let's see if it's beautiful or not.
First Time Stargazing: A Breathtaking Experience
This excerpt describes a first-time experience with stargazing, highlighting the awe-inspiring beauty of the Milky Way. The author emphasizes the difference between photographs and the actual sight, urging readers to witness it firsthand. They describe the experience as "breathtaking" and encourage others to visit the location for a similar experience.

Good morning! It rained heavily last night, bringing cool air with it. The weather was perfect for sleeping, and I overslept. There was one activity that everyone should do (but I missed it) T__T: watching the sunrise and the sea of fog at the Huai Ton Hai viewpoint. This trip was a big miss!
--->Today's simple meal is sticky rice wrapped in fragrant banana leaves with fried egg. This is enough to make me not ask for a bonus, my dear boss.
5555+ Just kidding, honey. I still love my bonus. Life goes on, we need to eat, we need to spend, and we still have to pay for the car. Oh my, it's delicious! After I'm done eating, I'm ready to pack my bags and say goodbye to my rural home where I've been for two days. I've aged 20 years. I really don't want to go back to Bangkok.
Let's go! We don't focus on long trips, but rather on frequent ones, according to this slogan. Where will we go next? Will we have enough vacation days left? Will we have enough money to travel?...
Every trip, every new experience, is a bead on the bracelet of our lives. Let's go back to the capital!
