"Spreading the colors of the rainy season"

Phrae, a city often overlooked as merely a stopover point. When asked about attractions in Phrae, the response is often that there are none.

This time, however, our trip did not provide the answer we were looking for. One of the team members said that there are many places to visit, but people just don't know about them.

We decided to go to Phrae. We started our journey from Bangkok to Phrae province, a distance of approximately 555 kilometers.

On our first morning, we traveled to the road behind Phra That Pu Jae. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes. We never knew that Phrae had such a beautiful place. The road had almost no power lines, similar to the skywalk in Nan. We parked our car and soaked in the atmosphere, listening to soft music. The rain the previous night had created a sea of fog in the mountains.

However, the journey was not always smooth. While we were parked to enjoy the scenery, Uncle Green's radiator hose broke, possibly due to its age. We spent a considerable amount of time repairing it on the spot. After fixing Uncle Green, we continued on the same road, detouring to Ban Na Khuha at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. We slowly drove down the mountain to get a high-angle view of the area, observing the local way of life. Agriculture, cornfields on the mountain soil, similar to Nan, the beauty of the villagers' fields was another kind. After a while, we headed to Ban Na Khuha in search of Tao seaweed, a freshwater seaweed that the villagers use in various dishes and processed products, such as rice crackers and soap.

In the evening, we reached the campsite at Mon Mae Thang and set up camp. We enjoyed a barbecue, as is customary for campers. The night was cool and comfortable, with occasional rain showers that kept the temperature pleasant.

The morning at Mon Mae Than, the atmosphere of the sea of mist flowed past our faces to the front of the accommodation. The level of happiness is 10+, which I can tell you is very suitable for relaxation.

Before heading back, we stopped by the Pae Muang Phi rock formations for some photos and enjoyed some delicious local khao soi in Phrae town.
