Greetings to all my friends who have come to read this review. For this trip, I escaped the city and traveled all the way to Chiang Mai. My first destination was Mae Rim, where I stayed at a homestay called Mon Nuea Homestay.

Travel

The journey is not difficult and can be done by private car or by renting a car from Chiang Mai city, which is not too far away. Drive towards Mae Rim and pass Mae Rim Market, you will find a large PTT gas station before reaching the three-way intersection. Turn left at the intersection onto the Samoeng road and enjoy the scenic drive. This route offers a variety of tourist attractions, including cafes, Mae Sa Waterfall, Mae Sa Elephant Camp, and the famous Mon Cham. Continue driving until you reach Pong Yaeng, where you will find a right turn to Mon Cham. This route is quite steep, so please drive carefully. Follow the signs and pass Eden Garden. At the three-way intersection, turn left and look for the sign to Mon Nuea. Follow the signs for no more than 20 minutes and you will reach your accommodation.

Before heading to your room, check in at the reception. This accommodation offers two types of rooms: bamboo box houses located on the upper level (as shown in the picture) and loft houses situated on the lower level. Today, I booked a bamboo box house during the low season for 1,200 baht, including breakfast for two guests. If I recall correctly, the loft houses cost around 1,750 baht. However, prices may vary during peak season, so it's best to check their official page for the latest rates.
