3 Days 2 Nights in Chiang Mai: A Different Perspective...
Immerse yourself in the lush greenery of Chiang Mai during the rainy season. This time, we'll explore the city from a different perspective by joining a 9-temple tour organized by our accommodation. This budget-friendly option provides convenience and eliminates the need for car rentals. Our local driver ensures efficient travel, allowing us to visit multiple locations in a single day. The tour includes transportation, accommodation, and meals, making it a hassle-free experience.
Our three-day, two-night stay was at Baan Suan Feung Fah in Mae Rim district. We chose this location for its tranquility, natural surroundings, and proximity to the Ping River. If you're visiting Chiang Mai, consider a change of pace by staying outside the city like us. Getting to the city center is convenient, taking about 14 kilometers. Another reason we chose this place is because they offer tours for those who don't like planning their own itineraries. The tour includes visits to nine famous temples in Chiang Mai, as well as delicious food, cafes in Nimmanhaemin, and the walking street. All this for a single price of 3,500 baht per person, which includes accommodation for three days and two nights, airport/train station/bus transfer, and the tour. …However, for this trip, we decided to break the mold and drive ourselves around in a rental car from "กินเที่ยว รถเช่า เชียงใหม่" instead of joining a tour. This way, we could also visit some cute cafes along the way. Let's see where we went (details for each location are below the pictures). Let's see which 5 temples and 3 cute cafes we visited…
