🌳 Ob Luang National Park
Today, we will take you on a camping survey at Ob Luang National Park. Let me tell you, it was worth the long motorbike ride from Chiang Mai city.

Coordinates: Hod District, Chiang Mai Province
Aup Luang, in the local dialect, translates to "large narrow passage". It is a narrow passage between two mountains (or two cliffs), also known as Khao Khad, with the Mae Chaem River flowing through the bottom. A short wooden bridge connects the two sides of Aup Luang.
Tourist attractions: Prehistoric human settlements, ancient human burial grounds, white rock paintings at the Elephant Cliff.
Activities: Hiking, whitewater rafting in rubber boats or kayaking in the Jaehm River.
Directions: From Chiang Mai city, drive along Highway 108 for approximately 88 kilometers to reach Hod District. Then, turn right at the clock tower and follow the Hod-Mae Sariang route for another 17 kilometers to reach the Ob Luang National Park headquarters.
Tourist season: Year-round, but whitewater rafting on the Mae Chaem River is best during the late rainy season and winter months.
