"Koh Si Chang," an island in Chonburi province, is conveniently located within close proximity to Bangkok. Various transportation options are available, including private vehicles, public buses (or even walking for those who are up for the challenge!), or any other means that lead to Si Racha district in Chonburi.

On the day of my visit, there was some confusion about the pier. I wasn't sure whether to board the boat at Charoen Pier or Ko Loi Pier. Even the local taxis didn't know. As I approached Charoen Pier, just before reaching the boarding point, someone shouted after me, "Are you going to Si Chang?" I replied, "Yes, I am." He then said, "You need to go to Ko Loi Pier." So, I had to walk quite a distance.

Upon reaching the floating island, you will find a ticket booth where tickets cost 50 baht. After purchasing your ticket, a boat will arrive shortly and wait for you. The boat has two levels, and the upper level allows you to sit and enjoy the cool breeze.

As we approach Koh Sichang, we will notice a tower, lighthouse, or something like that. I can't quite tell, but it's beautiful. It has a bit of a Chinese feel to it and serves as a symbol that we have arrived at "Koh Sichang".

Upon arriving on the island, there are various transportation options available. For the energetic, walking is a great option (unless there are any issues with walking, in which case walking is highly recommended). Alternatively, you can rent a motorbike, a skylab (tuk-tuk), or choose any other mode of transportation that suits your needs. As for me, being an energetic individual (a walker, to be precise), I opted to rent a motorbike. Now, let's take a look at the pictures of the various tourist attractions.

The First Stop: Khao Yai Shrine

The Khao Yai Shrine, a sacred landmark on Koh Sichang, is a must-visit for any visitor. This revered site offers a chance to pay respects and seek blessings for good fortune. With its picturesque surroundings, the shrine also provides ample opportunities for capturing stunning photographs.

Location 2: Isariya Bhummarn Channel or Khao Khad

This location is recommended for a visit in the late afternoon, as you may be lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset (although I was unlucky and the sky was overcast during my visit). However, even in the morning, the view is stunning. It is definitely one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the area.

Wait, we're not done yet. Since we didn't get any cool evening light, let's try for some morning light instead. And here's the photo I got. Not bad, if I do say so myself. (Patting myself on the back)

The third location is the beautiful Atsadang Bridge, a wooden bridge that extends out into the sea. I intentionally took photos here in the morning to capture the beautiful sunrise, which enhances the beauty of the location. I woke up at 5:30 am and rode my motorbike to the bridge. (Oh, by the way, the bridge opens at 6:00 am, but I don't remember what time it closes. Hehe) When I arrived, I was not disappointed. I got the morning light as I hoped. It was so heartwarming. There are also many other places to take photos in the area. You can take photos all day long, I tell you. Hehe.

This is a great place to start exploring Si Chang, but there's so much more to discover. Come and experience it for yourself, and you'll fall in love with the island before you know it.

In addition to the various tourist attractions on the island, there are also local products waiting for visitors to purchase as souvenirs. During my trip, I witnessed the production of sun-dried seafood, including fish and squid, and even had the opportunity to taste it. It was delicious! If you visit Koh Sichang, I highly recommend stopping by the local community shops to support their products. The shops are located on the way to the Khao Yai Shrine. Please consider supporting the local villagers.

In conclusion, I hope this review has been helpful for those interested in visiting these various locations. Until next time, happy travels everyone! Goodbye!
