Today, I embarked on a road trip to Phuket, passing through Phang Nga. I seized the opportunity to visit a scenic viewpoint that is considered a must-see destination, Samet Nang Chee. The route was straightforward, with clear signage guiding the way. Upon reaching the junction, I turned off the main road (Phetkasem) and drove approximately 13 kilometers to reach my destination.
We have arrived at Samet Nang Chee, a place many have praised. Let's see how good it truly is with our own eyes. Let's go!
After parking your car, you must purchase a ticket for 90 baht per person. This price includes transportation to the viewpoint, as driving yourself is not permitted due to the challenging terrain. Even taking photos while en route is prohibited. The steep incline necessitates holding onto the vehicle firmly to avoid falling. Alternatively, for 30 baht, you can hike the approximately 2 kilometers to the top (if you believe you are physically capable).
And then we arrived at the first view at approximately 5:50 pm.
Accommodation and restaurants are available on the top. If you want to capture the beautiful sunrise, you can rent a room and stay overnight. Alternatively, you can bring your own tent and camp. The campsite is available, but I didn't ask about the price.
As time passes, the light falling on the front view begins to change color with the sunlight that shines through.
The sun has begun to set below the horizon. The resulting images and light are as beautiful as this.
