Today's journey from Bangkok to Phra Buddha Chinarat in Phitsanulok was arduous. The trip, which normally takes less than 5 hours, took 8 hours today, even though I took a secondary route. Fortunately, I was able to stay at a brand-new hotel.

The Hola Hotel Rim Nan is actually the former Rim Nan Hotel, which has been demolished and rebuilt as a new boutique hotel. The price is affordable, around 1,000 baht per night. The new hotel is located behind Wat Nang Phaya, just a 3-minute walk from Wat Phra Yai.

The hotel is new and the facilities are good. The bed is soft and comfortable, the Wi-Fi works well, and the water pressure in the bathroom is strong. The minibar is free. However, the water pressure is so strong that it makes the water drain slowly, which can easily cause the water to overflow onto the dry area. The safe is more like a decoration than something that actually works. There is also limited parking. Therefore, I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I will definitely stay here again next time.
