Phuket is calling me ... Phuket, where everyone goes during the high season, but no one knows that the low season has its own charm.

.

For those of us who love the sea, no matter the season, we always crave the cool breeze and the waves that come with the blue water. We feel that each season has its own unique charm.
During the low season, we can go diving, surfing, or take a leisurely stroll through the city. There are also fewer tourists, and most importantly, many things are much cheaper. I repeat, much cheaper!

For this trip, my friends and I flew directly from Don Mueang Airport to Phuket Airport with AirAsia. Our flight departed at 6:55 AM, and our return flight departed at 9:30 PM.

As we sometimes arrive at the airport just in time or even late, we check in through the AirAsia app to be on the safe side. Then, we print the ticket at the check-in kiosk. It's super convenient!

It took us about 1.5 hours to reach Phuket Airport around 8:20 AM. We rented a car from 999carrent for 900 baht per day. No deposit was required, and we only needed to present our ID card to rent the car.

After finishing everything, it was time to find something to eat. Our first stop was Toop Gapao Restaurant, located in Phuket Old Town. Upon arrival, we decided to try some southern Thai food.

The total cost for our meal was around 600 baht, which is considered reasonable considering the quality of the food.

After finishing our meal, we headed to our accommodation, Borbaboom Phuket, a charming little hostel nestled in the heart of Phuket's Old Town. While the lack of on-site parking presented a minor inconvenience, requiring us to find street parking and walk a short distance, we were otherwise pleased with our choice. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostel offered a variety of room options at reasonable prices. The highlight for us was the rooftop swimming pool, providing a refreshing escape from the tropical heat.

We spent some time relaxing at our accommodation due to the rain. Once the rain stopped, we went out to take photos in the city center.

Phuket Town is a charming place with beautiful views from every angle. The city retains its old-world charm. After a leisurely stroll and some photos, stop by Doubrew Coffee Cafe for a refreshing drink.

We ordered the shop's signature coffee, which tasted like a red lime soda, but with coffee. If you like sour drinks, give it a try. We recommend it. It's easy to drink, refreshing, and will definitely quench your thirst.

We ended our first day here due to fatigue from the journey, so we all went back to rest.

On the second morning, we woke up late and grabbed a light breakfast before indulging in some sweet treats. We visited The Feelsion Cafe, located a short distance from our accommodation. The cafe's rustic aesthetic immediately captivated us, offering picturesque photo opportunities from every angle. The homemade ice cream and desserts were a delightful surprise, and the prices were incredibly reasonable.

We stayed at this restaurant for a long time because it suddenly started raining heavily. But because the restaurant was beautiful, we were able to stay comfortably. We ate and took pictures while playing. When the rain started to subside, we left the restaurant. The next place we went to was **Promthep Cape**, a popular viewpoint in Phuket. If you come to Phuket and don't come here, it's like you haven't been here at all.

The cool breeze and the setting sun created a truly magical atmosphere. We sat there until the sun dipped below the horizon, soaking in the beauty of the moment. Thankfully, the evening rain held off, allowing us to fully appreciate the coastal ambiance.

On our last day, we stopped for lunch at **Wan Chan Restaurant**, located near our accommodation where we had just checked out. The food here was just as delicious as any other restaurant we had visited. We believe that one of the charms of the South is its cuisine.

We still have plenty of time before heading to the airport, so we decided to go back to the city center to visit another cafe on our list, A.dessert.moments. Just looking at the exterior, we were already eager to step inside. The cafe's decor is incredibly charming.

We bid farewell to the old town of Phuket with a sweet treat, then headed to the airport. It started to drizzle, and we were worried about getting stuck in traffic, so we left early. We figured that if we arrived early, we could stop by Mai Khao Beach, as it was close to the airport. As expected, there was some traffic, but not too bad, so we had time for a quick visit to Mai Khao Beach.

The sky is overcast, but even though we didn't get to go out to sea much on this trip, we still had fun hunting for food and taking pictures in Phuket Town. We talked to our friends and decided to come back again next time and go island hopping, because this trip we toured the whole of Phuket Town.

For those planning a trip to Phuket, booking flights is easy on www.airasia.com, an airline with multiple flight times from morning to night. Importantly, the flights depart on time, ensuring your travel plans remain on schedule.

This concludes our trip for now. See you on the next adventure! 👋
