⛰ Today, we will take everyone to enjoy the breeze and view of the mountains, green rice fields, and rivers flowing through, lined with trees of all sizes. This is Chalermprakiet District, Nan Province, the northernmost district of Nan bordering Laos. 🌳
The Breathtaking Beauty of Nan's Mountainous Landscape
This road trip to Nan reached its peak at this viewpoint, offering a truly breathtaking panorama. Rolling green mountains stretched as far as the eye could see, untouched and pristine. The sunlight danced across the landscape, highlighting the vibrant hues of the verdant slopes. This vista is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Nan, captivating the essence of the province's natural beauty. We wholeheartedly recommend this viewpoint as a highlight of any Nan itinerary, a place where the stunning scenery will leave you mesmerized.
🚗 Accessing this location requires a pickup truck and considerable driving skills due to the challenging, narrow, and steep terrain.

The first place we visited was the Sajuk-Sakeaeng Royal Development Project, which houses numerous agricultural stations. The highlight is the tea plantation, where three guesthouses are available for rent. Accommodation fees are based on donations, but guests are required to bring their own amenities.
If the air is cold in the morning with thick fog, this place would be no less beautiful.

Piang Sao Viewpoint: Upon arriving here, I fell deeply in love with the mountains. The scenery is breathtaking, with endless mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. The beauty is overwhelming, leaving me speechless.

The orange cloth tied on top of the pole this Saturday is likely a monk's robe, symbolizing that this place is forbidden for deforestation.
After countless bends in the road, our ultimate destination, the most breathtaking viewpoint in Nan, finally comes into sight.
This path is rough, steep, and narrow, but we are not discouraged because it is well worth the journey.
The journey is as beautiful as the destination. The Nan River, flowing through many places, nourishes many lives.
The vastness of our rice fields is truly breathtaking, unlike anything I've ever seen before. I could stand here for hours, simply breathing in the fresh air and admiring the beauty of this landscape.
This place is teeming with sheep. It's been a long time since we've seen such a sight. It warms the heart.
I love Nan.
