"It would be nice if, in addition to seeing the photos, we were also in them."

Without visiting in person, one would not believe that "Nakhon Chum" offers such breathtaking views and opportunities to "conquer the sea of mist." . .
And who would have known that "Khao Pok Lone" is located in Phitsanulok? . .

Our journey this time took us to Nakhon Thai District, Phitsanulok Province, and we stayed at the "Nakhon Chum Homestay" so that the next day we could conquer the sea of fog at "Khao Pok Loen". There are many homestays here, and the people are lovely. The villagers are friendly and welcoming, with smiles to greet tourists.

"Khao Pok Khlon": A Tranquil Hike with Stunning Views

Nestled in the Nakhon Chum sub-district of Nakhon Thai district, Phitsanulok province, "Khao Pok Khlon" offers a serene hiking experience. Situated near a village, the trailhead is easily accessible, requiring a leisurely 1-2 kilometer walk. The terrain is predominantly flat with gentle inclines, making it suitable for both experienced and novice hikers. The cool morning air, especially when starting early to catch the mesmerizing sea of mist, adds to the pleasant ambiance. With a moderate difficulty level, the hike typically takes around 30-40 minutes to complete.

To witness the breathtaking sea of mist, embark on your journey between 5:00 and 5:30 AM. From your accommodation, a 20-30 minute pickup truck ride will transport you to the starting point of your trek.

Every year, on April 13th, a flag-raising ceremony is held on the summit of Mount Poklone to commemorate the heroic deeds of King Bang Klang Hao.

We have arrived! . . . "Sea of fog" Wow!!

The sun began to rise, casting a soft orange glow over the mountain range. The mist gradually dissipated in the gentle breeze. The scene was truly breathtaking.

As the sky begins to open up . .

I never thought that "Nakhon Chum" would have a place like this. If I had never been here, I would not have known. And I must say that this place is worth coming back to again. Because if anyone gets to experience this place, they will definitely be impressed and will definitely want to come back again.

A simple breakfast of sticky rice with fried pork, accompanied by an extraordinary view.

And these trusty shoes, who would have thought they would bring me here. . .^^

This is a glimpse of the surroundings of the village where we stayed (a few snapshots captured).

The weather here is pleasantly cool all year round. The village is surrounded by small mountains.
