This is a review of Rossinis, an Italian restaurant located on the first floor of the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel. The restaurant is one of the author's personal favorites and is featured on page 106 of the Michelin Guide Bangkok 2018. The author is joined by Chef Tong to discuss and explain the dishes for this meal. Let's take a look.

When paired with the salmon, it adds a delightful savory and refreshing coolness that perfectly complements the fish. Highly recommended.


A seasonal appetizer that highlights the natural sweetness of the main ingredients: thick, succulent bamboo shoots, dried morel mushrooms, and ham hock. The dish is enhanced by a rich and flavorful sauce made from simmered beef stock, which complements the main ingredients without overpowering them. This dish allows the main ingredients to showcase their full potential, while the sauce demonstrates the chef's ability to add depth and complexity to the flavors. Recommended.


The dish features wild-caught turbot, renowned for its firm texture and rich flavor, surpassing its farmed counterparts. The thick, visually appealing cut boasts crispy skin and succulent, intensely sweet flesh. It is accompanied by zucchini, sliced and pureed, and ham, offering a delicate sweetness without overpowering the fish. This unexpected pairing harmonizes beautifully. The Sicilian touch of cheese foam adds a unique element, showcasing a rare combination of ingredients rarely found in Thai cuisine. Highly recommended.


A popular menu featuring Miyazaki Beef from Japan, using A4 grade, sliced into thick, beautiful pieces, grilled to a fragrant tenderness with just the right amount of fat, making it a pleasure to chew. The flavor is enhanced by sea asparagus, which adds a touch of sea saltiness, a crisp and juicy texture, and a unique aroma that does not overpower the meat. This is a unique pairing that creates a truly memorable steak experience. Recommended.


The Perfect Pasta: A Culinary Masterpiece

The final act of this culinary journey is a pasta dish that embodies the essence of Italian cuisine. Perfectly cooked pasta, al dente, serves as the canvas for a rich and flavorful meat sauce. The aroma of the sauce, a symphony of spices and herbs, fills the air, inviting you to indulge in its depth of flavor. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, a testament to the art of Italian cooking.
