What a long name for a pass, but it's definitely worth it! The best value ever.
🚄 Many people who travel to Japan face a headache-inducing problem every trip: which pass to use. Which pass is the most cost-effective? Should I use a pass at all? These are just some of the questions that plague travelers. For our trip to Takayama, Shirakawa-go, and Nagoya, we decided to use the following pass: ⬇️⬇️
Today, I would like to recommend the "JR Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass (5 days, consecutive use)" which allows you to travel on JR trains, some Shinkansen lines, and buses along the route "Kansai Airport - Osaka - Kyoto - Kanazawa - Toyama - Takayama - Shirakawago - Gero - Nagoya". This pass covers all the routes and is very easy and convenient to use.
🚄 For our recent trip, we opted for this pass, which we booked through this link: [Spoil] Click to reveal hidden text: https://affiliate.klook.com/jump/activity/2969-/…
This Klook.com pass (as it is not available for purchase in Japan and must be purchased from a distributor outside of Japan) allows you to receive your Exchange Order at home after booking. You can then exchange the Exchange Order in Japan. We used it from the moment we left Kansai Airport, so we exchanged it at the JR West ticket office. As soon as we arrived, we were able to get it, saving us a lot of time.

Here's the translated version:
Using this pass, we traveled seamlessly from Kansai Airport to Kyoto, then onward to Takayama, before exploring Shirakawa-go and finally arriving in Nagoya, all without incurring any additional travel expenses.
The Japan Rail Pass offers significant cost savings. Our calculations show that without the pass, the total travel expenses would be 21,640 yen, while with the pass, it only costs 14,000 yen! Additionally, the pass provides greater flexibility. If you need to change your plans or miss a train, you won't incur additional charges. You also avoid the hassle of purchasing individual tickets for each leg of your journey. Therefore, I always recommend using the Japan Rail Pass when traveling in Japan.
