After passing through the security check, we followed the path to the digital wall and waited for the fastest elevator in Thailand. It took less than 50 seconds to travel from the 1st floor to the 74th floor, which was incredibly fast. During the 50 seconds in the elevator, the walls displayed moving images of various landmarks in Bangkok. If you are prone to motion sickness, you might want to close your eyes. Otherwise, enjoy the beautiful scenery. In the blink of an eye, we arrived at the 74th floor.
Upon reaching the 74th floor, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Bangkok. The floor features floor-to-ceiling windows and interactive augmented reality touchscreens that display information about various landmarks visible from that vantage point. This innovative feature allows visitors to identify and learn about the surrounding landmarks, enhancing their sightseeing experience.
After exploring the 74th floor, we took the escalator to the 75th floor, which is a mezzanine level. We then waited for the glass elevator to take us to the 78th floor.
We have reached the 78th floor, the pinnacle and highlight of our trip. Here, we are able to experience the breathtaking panoramic views from the open-air rooftop of the King Power Mahanakhon building. We then proceeded to queue up for the thrilling experience of walking on the glass tray, which offered a heart-pounding, exhilarating experience with stunning photographic opportunities.
After reaching the summit, we ascended the stairs to THE PEAK, capturing breathtaking panoramic views from 314 meters above ground level. The open-air setting provided a refreshing breeze as we sat on the stairs, awaiting the sunset. Sipping on cocktails, we embraced the tranquil ambiance, aptly reflecting the essence of THE PEAK.
On the way back, take the same elevator and it will take you to the 4th floor. You can continue shopping at various stores from the 4th floor to the 1st floor, including King Power Duty Free, which offers a wide range of duty-free products from renowned brands, special souvenirs exclusive to "Mahanakhon SkyWalk," and a variety of Thai wisdom products.
