The journey to the village winds through several other settlements, traversing narrow roads that vary in quality. Ascend a steep and winding mountain path, and after a somewhat arduous journey, you will arrive at Ban Pang Maeo.
Furthermore, GPS navigation within the village is unreliable. The accommodation will provide alternative directions.
Pang Maeo Village is located approximately 70 kilometers from Chiang Mai city. Upon arrival at Pang Maeo Village, the accommodation provider will pick you up from the village entrance and transport you to the parking area at the owner's residence. From there, you will continue your journey by motorbike for approximately 2 kilometers. The route is quite challenging, with steep uphill and downhill sections, as well as muddy and rutted dirt roads. Be prepared for an exciting ride, or if you prefer, you can walk to your destination.

The optimal time to visit is between July and October, when the rice terraces are at their most stunning. In October, the rice ripens, turning a vibrant golden yellow.
