4 Days 3 Nights - KRABI in JUNE 2025

After finished trip in Chiang Mai with my friend Chao and his family. I continued to Krabi. This is my first time continue to second destination in same trip especially fly from Chiang Mai to Krabi. There are some of my friends live in Krabi and one of them just moved to work in Krabi and he really wants to show me how nice of Krabi. Actually, I love this beach destination because of the character of the landscape, local life and food. Most of all, there was around 8 years that I did not travel to this province!

I arrived Krabi by late evening flight and got taxi from airport to hotel

Stay first night at SEA SEEKER RESORT (my friend in Bangkok Nhoo bought voucher of this hotel from Travel fair at QSNCC in Bangkok. But later she has other plan so she cannot travel and worry that voucher may be expire, then I'm the lucky person to get that voucher from her) 

The room is nice but up on checked in I dropped all stuff and went out as I saw there is night market on walking distance

I walked around the night market but cannot find what I want to eat. I was full of Northern Thai food from Chiang Mai for 4 days so wants something difference. I walked back to hotel and decided to try Japanese food at hotel's restaurant

Big bowl of sashimi salad was enough for dinner, but I want to try that beef as well :)

Krabi also celebrate pride month same as Phuket and other province. Signature drink looks nice but not for solo traveler like me this time

My first day in Krabi gone and I slept a bit early after checked all my email. Work is always around!

17th June - my plan is to experience kayaking to the natural canal in the jungle called "Klong Root" which located around 1 hour away from my hotel, so I woke up early morning for breakfast. After breakfast, my friend Nann and X picked me up from hotel and we drive passed Ao Nang Beach.

X was asking for coffee so we stopped by at the cafe at the corner of Ao Nang beach. The cafe name REEVE BEACH CLUB. While X order his coffee, me and Nann walking around to see the nice view 

This is very nice restaurant actually. It is not only cafe 

So, we may come back in the evening for dinner. X got his coffee then we continue to KLONG ROOT

But Nann suggested to visit a temple which located on the way to Klong Root. Thai people in all around Thailand we have same believe. Visit temple to get blessing and with the blessing everything going well and safe in all journey

And the view from the top of the mountain is so nice

We left temple and heading to our destination.

But Nann and X did not have breakfast yet. Actually, both of them live in Phuket and they drove from Phuket since early morning to join with me for this trip

Then we stopped again at restaurant for brunch

And whenever travel to Krabi, we should not miss this menu which is one of the most famous menus in Krabi

I love Southern food so much and when travelling to the south. I always order this menu

The yellow spicy soup with young coconut leaf and sea fish. And side dish with this menu cannot be other but Thai omlet

Nann and X enjoy picked some other menu as they both came to this restaurant 2-3 times already

I like this restaurant, located by the canal and the water is so clear and clean. There are lots of fishes and big fishes are enjoy swimming

We full by all food especially me after breakfast at hotel and later only 2 hours I have another food. If we like that food, so no problem to eat more :)

I joined same kayak with Nann and we have staff to help for paddle. X separate in another boat with staff help for paddle as well

Look at X costume today is outstanding. The reason is he forgot short pants today, so he has to go with this pair of nice jeans but it is not a big problem :)

The water is clear like crystal and the sky is so bright and beautiful like you can see in the picture. After left the pier around 10 minutes. Our paddler suggests me to get off from the kayak and stand on the cut tree which standing under the water. And I got this very nice shot from our paddler as well. 

I'm sure that you cannot imagine how was the feeling standing there. The clear water is around 3 meters dept but it was so clear so you may think it shallow. But the water is cold and clean. It was so good!

I got back to the boat, and we continue

I asked our paddler to try to paddle by myself. Actually, I know how to paddle. And actually, like it to do by myself. But the problem is when we paddle, we cannot take nice photo of anything we saw on the way

Our paddler name Mr.Nat, he took us continue to the lotus zone

The natural lotus glowing in the clear water and there are lots of small fishes

Heading to the forest

Under the shade of trees, the water colder than outside

But water still clean and clear and also cold. At the end of the canal, we met some tourists arrive before us

Some tourists just stop the boat and lay down under the shade

The weather in that area is so fresh and cool. 

And Nann tried kayaking (her first time)

I didn't bring mobile cover bag so I cannot take underwater photo even I really want.

So, our paddler Mr.Nat shared some nice photo from his last trip to me

But it is a video file, so I capture some part here as I want to share to you that I have seen. How come the water there is so clear and lots of fishes

There are some carp fishes as well but they are moving so fast so we cannot take photo of them

We left the forest and heading back. On the way, our paddler took us see some nepenthes

It is not easy to find them

But here there are a lot

And not only nepenthes, but there are also lots of birds

I use only mobile so my photos may not as beautiful as real

We head back to the pier

Before we leave, they provided some fresh fruit. My favorite fruit is watermelon :)

Nan and X were out of energy so they cancel the evening tour and just drop me at another pier. I booked evening catamaran tour to visit 4 islands

After Nann and X dropped me at the pier. I let them leave for rest because the boat providing transfer from pier back to my hotel, so it was convenience for me

The tour started from Ao Num Mao pier

The boat name is MEKA, they provide speed boat transfer from pier to big boat. Staff said that the sea level is too shallow so the big boat cannot dock nearer to the pier

All passengers on board and the boat left the pier. The weather was not bad and blue sky with white cotton cloud look so beautiful

 The boat stopped near the island name Koh Poda

They gave 1 hour for snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing on the beach or walk around island. I chose to walk around island then their staff took me on glass bottom boat to the beach

I bought National Park passport with me and want to get stamp from this island. I realized that this is same National Park with Phi Phi island and I visit Phi Phi last month and got stamp already. However, the Park ranger was so kind. He stamped for me again and draw sketch a lovely dolphin

Now I'm not sure which fish is the logo of this park. Earlier my friend Lekky sketch shark but now ranger sketch dolphin ^_^

May be both of them stay together in this area

I walked along the beach to another side of island and found the wea have less wave and more people swimming there

However, the sunset side also look nice when the sun going down. Before one hour, I return to the boat by glass bottom boat with same staff

And on the boat preparing dinner, BBQ look yummy

As well as sushi

Dinner started and everyone enjoy eating with a nice view. We passed Chicken Island

And the boat floating close to the sand dune where we expect to see nice sunset

But we were not lucky enough, we can see only vanilla sky but no sun. However, the sky was so beautiful and romantic. After everywhere dark, the boat return to the pier and the car transfers me to hotel

I had dropped my luggage to this hotel since morning. My original trip booked hotel name Panan Krabi Resort because I heard this hotel is on good location with walking distance to Ao Nang Beach. After checked in and unpack then sit with my laptop around 2 hours then I slept

18th June - Woke up early morning again and after breakfast Nann and X picked me up. X has parent in Krabi so he and Nan stayed at their room then only me stay in hotel

Actually, this hotel has nice swimming pool but I do not have time to enjoy swimming because my plan full of outside activities

Today, another 2 of my friends will join our adventure activities. We will ride ATV, rock-climbing and cave exploring. Aoy and Ploy came from Phuket to join me, Nann and X 

We start with ATV, me with Nann and Aoy with Oil and X go with the car. We start from normal road

And continue with offroad through the palm plantation

Visit WAT THAM PETCH (Diamond cave)

Inside the cave is dark and we have to walk carefully because there are lot of Stalagmite & Stalactite. We should not step on stalagmite and should not hit or touch stalactite as well

The local guide said that this cave at least around 200,000 years

We saw Petrified wood on the wall

Some part of the cave with low ceiling and we have to crawl. X had difficult time because he is tall but 4 of us with around 160cm is not big problem

Inside the cave full of oxygen because there are some small ponds. So, it quite easy to breath

There is only one entrance and exit so after visit the deepest area then we walked back to the entrance

Aoy feel like she is on stand to get gold medal after we visit this cave

We left the cave and get on the ATV and continue to last mission

We climbed up to the small cliff to visit small cave

This shallow cave looks beautiful with difference shape of rocks

We came down to have picnic lunch style

And this is my favorite menu, fried mix meatballs

No matter what you eat, but who you are eating with. Eating with friend especially friends who tired and hungry then we can enjoy all food :)

There were a local people selling fruit from their farm and there is durian. Unfortunately, we were too full so we cannot add any fruit

After finished lunch and take a short break. We started the last mission

We climbed to the top then walk through the cave and rope down. Firstly, we have to practice how to climb up and X is the first one

And then Nann

It looks difficult but actually not. With the special shoes which easy to stick with the stone so if we get over the fear of fall (staff take care with another rope so we will not fall) then we can climb up

We arrived up to the entrance to the cave and continue walking inside the cave

And reached to another side of the mountain

And it's time to rope down

While X and Nann rope down. I climbed up to the net as I want to see the top view

After that I was the last one to rope down

So, all our missions today completed. Nann and X send me back to hotel while Aoy and Oil drive back to Phuket on the same day as they have to go to Singapore next day. This is our relationship even short meet up somewhere we can we always do

I arrived back to hotel and refresh and prepare myself to meet with another friend who also live in Krabi Mr.Golf

Golf booked table at the restaurant by the beach. And when I reached to the location which he had shared then I realized that the same place that I and Nann,X got coffee in the morning yesterday. It is REEVE BEACH CLUB

But the atmosphere between morning and evening totally difference

The indigo color of the sea after sunset is my favorite color

The weather was so good. I arrived before Golf for few minutes then I took some nice shot

When he arrived, we start order food. We are close friend, so he knows well what I like. He ordered fresh shrimp with spicy salad

Spaghetti seafood

And Caesar salad. All food is good plus they have a nice fire show on the beach

The show started around 8.30pm and take around 30 minutes. It was very nice and excited show by professional staff. We were enjoyed eating and talking after did not meet around 3 years. We keep connect on Facebook and Instagram to know where we go and what we are doing. 

Around 11pm Golf sent me back to my hotel. He married and moved to stayed in Krabi around 5 years already and he really enjoyed living here. Even short meeting but it was nice to meet with old friend again

19th June - last day in Krabi was so sad. I decided to skip breakfast at hotel and get on the shuttle bus from hotel to Ao Nang beach and have breakfast at REEVE BEACH CLUB because I want to sit and see beautiful beach of Ao Nang before I leave

This is their omelet. I never tried this style of omelet before, and I like it after tried first spoon. I order tea with milk and enjoy the morning view

Left there and return to hotel to pack all stuff and prepare to leave for airport at 5pm

But I got a call from another friend Au. She saw me checked in Krabi so she also invited me for lunch. We did not meet around 2 years. So, I packed all stuff and asked her to pick me at 1.30pm from hotel. 

I though the breakfast this morning should be my last meal in Krabi this time. But now it is lunch with another friend. Au asked me to bring my stuff and keep in her car, and she will drop me at airport after lunch (because we both know how long we will talk after long time)

It was 5pm and Au drove me to airport. We say goodbye to each other with other memories to meet in Krabi

Krabi airport now look very nice. After they did renovate and more restaurants and coffee shops opened

My flight is around 7pm so it was plenty time to sit down and seeing all photos from this trip. There were so many memories, so many people I met and also many friends which did not meet for long time. It was a fantastic trip. Thanks, all friends fulfill all my mission to complete this time and hope to see you again somewhere!
