Thai Airways Business Class Review: Bangkok-Oslo, Norway Route

Hello everyone.

Today, I'm taking you on a direct Thai Airways business class flight to Oslo, Norway.

It's very convenient; the overnight flight arrives in the morning, so you're ready to start your trip right away.

For Thai Airways, passengers with first or business class tickets

can check in at the dedicated counter at Row A, Gate 1 of Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Atmosphere at Row A, Suvarnabhumi Airport

Fly direct with Thai Airways. Premium full-service for a comfortable, non-stop journey.

A special feature of business class is priority luggage tagging.

This ensures bags are among the first to be released upon arrival.

Another advantage of flying Business Class with Thai Airways.

You can go through immigration directly at Row A.

After passing, an escalator takes you down to the lounge.

The lounge is divided into two zones, left and right. On the day I visited, it was very crowded.

Seeing this many customers made me happy for Thai Airways.

I turned right and the first thing I saw was the drink bar, so I had to order a signature drink.

For today's hot meal, I chose stir-fried minced pork with holy basil, a fried egg, and shrimp wonton soup.

Another must-try is the delicious Khao Tom Mat.

Today, flight TG954 departs from gate S113, a new gate that requires taking the airport tram to board.

TG954 will be operated by an Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Registration HS-THC, with the royally bestowed name "Srinagar."

Our seat is 16B. The amenities include an amenity kit,

a pillow, a blanket, and Marshall headphones.

Luk Chup, the dessert waiting to welcome us. (Very delicious)

The amenity kit is from the Jim Thompson brand.

Thai Airways now also provides pajamas with a Jim Thompson pattern.

Slippers are also provided for use on board.

The amenity kit features the "Paradise" design, with a vibrant pattern of flowers and parrots.

Inside, the set contains items for convenience during travel.

This includes a skincare set from Erb: Hand and Nail Cream, Lip Balm, and an Aroma Roller,

as well as a toothbrush, Marvis toothpaste, an eye mask, socks, earplugs, and a shoehorn.

A selfie before a long sleep. For anyone who wants to rest, I highly recommend it.

No need to wait for a connecting flight; it's a direct flight. It departs late at night and arrives in the morning, making you ready to travel right away.

Once seated, a flight attendant came for a personal introduction.

They also asked if I wanted a pre-departure drink.

I asked for champagne and confirmed the meal I had pre-ordered online.

This is a long 13-hour flight, so we can get plenty of rest and be ready to explore Oslo tomorrow morning.

I love it because we get a full sleep and breakfast is served, so we're completely ready to travel right after landing.

Thai Airways now has new menus from Michelin-starred Chef Pam of POTONG restaurant.

The online menu choice from Lak Monty is Chuchi Curry with Bangkok Thai Wagyu Ribs.

For breakfast, Monty chose a Zuwai crab omelette from Mezzaluna,

a 2-Michelin-star restaurant.

In-flight drink list

Today's starter is spicy mayonnaise shrimp.

The other is a raspberry pancake with seared foie gras. It tastes great and really awakens the palate.

The first course is Siberian caviar served with jumbo crab meat and seasoned truffle sauce

and avocado sweet pepper tartare.

Siberian caviar is served only on flights departing from Bangkok.

Return flights will have a different menu.

Let's take a look at the main course.

This dish is called "Choo Chee Thai-Wagyu Bangkok Beef Ribs," served with Gaeng Ranjuan with braised beef, and Royal Project Jasmine Rice.

It also comes with an ancient-style chili and salt dip and Kai Krob (salted egg yolk). This menu was created by the talented Chef Pam from POTONG restaurant.

The flavors are perfectly balanced. The beef and the Gaeng Ranjuan complement each other well. The portion size is just right.

Finished with a cheese board. I skipped dessert as I had to get ready for bed.

After the crew finished serving, they came to make the bed and turned off the cabin lights

so passengers could get a full rest.

Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes before landing, the cabin crew will turn on the cabin lights to prepare for breakfast service.

Monty ordered the Zuwai Crab Omelet, a soft omelet filled with Zuwai crab and Maitake mushroom cream.

A dish from the 2-Michelin-star restaurant, Mezzaluna.

The meal concluded with Patongko. It was heated exceptionally well by the cabin crew, achieving a taste nearly identical to that experienced on the ground.

After eating and going to the bathroom, the plane began to descend. I started to see the view, and it was all snow.

The captain announced the temperature at our destination is -9 degrees Celsius. I immediately grabbed a sweater.

Snow is everywhere.

The airplane is lined up with the runway, ready for landing.

And so, we arrived safely at Oslo Airport.

I was very impressed with this flight. The entire travel experience was smooth, and the food was delicious.

I got to sleep for a long time and was fully rested. It also saved a lot of travel time, with no more worries about connecting flights. It was another worthwhile and impressive direct flight.
