I have been to Phuket many times but it's never boring, what is good about Phuket?!?

It is very well known not only in Thailand, but also around the globe.

My trip to Phuket this time is at Eastin Yama Hotel Phuket.

Eastin Yama Hotel Phuket is located on a hill of Patak road, Soi 2, about 45 minutes away from Phuket International Airport and it is close to Kata Beach.

Karon Beach, Phuket's famous beach. You can see fantastic views of mountains and the Andaman ocean at day, at night and during sunset.

Also it is near to Wat Chalong and Phromthep cape.

Lobby

The concept of Eastin Yama Hotel Phuket is "Yāma", the third heaven.

That is full with a heavenly happiness without any suffering.

I reach the hotel around 14:00hrs. Once inside the lobby, it is really beautiful.

Lobby design is very chic, high ceiling,Yama flower chandelier. A symbol flower of a hotel is really big.

I think when the twilight comes after the sunset, it must be certainly spectacular.

Internet corner provided next to check-in counter.

Inspecting around the pool, at this time the sky is not that beautiful and it is not that sunny but it is pretty warm.

Seaview Suite

Up to the room, I stay in room number 424, A 63 sqm. Seaview Suite on the 4th floor.

The room is divided into a living room with a sofa, TV and balcony overlooking the surrounding views both mountains and sea. A plate of fruit provided. I am so relaxed after sitting and reading a travel book.

View from hotel room

Kind of sustenance in room such as tea, coffee, kettle, drinks and cup noodles and etc.

The wall is craved into a beautiful Yama flower.

The bedroom has a soft white bed. It is so inviting to lie down. From here you can see mountain view and the big buddha.

On a hilltop as well, free extra bed and breakfast for children younger than 16 years (not more than one child per room).

Looking down

Seeing the big buddha from the bed room

Exploring a little on bathroom, there is a tub in the middle. Toilet is separated from a shower. The bathroom has a rain shower head.

Full toiletries as needed. 2 wash basins but I'm staying and sleeping alone hahaha.

Facilities oh ... there is free wifi throughout the hotel as well.

Room during the twilight.

And then the time I look forward arrives. That is the twilight. Today's sunset and twilight are pretty beautiful. As always, I shoot with joy and excitement.

Balcony

Living room

Soft white bed is really appealing.

Lobby in the evening light and of course shooting is a must.

The hotel guests (mostly Chinese) have not returned from a trip yet.

Yama big flower is so beautiful at night.

Outside

SENZEES Restaurant

The hotel's restaurant serving all meals. It is near to the pool. It is comfortably spacious in a modern decor.

Under the concept "Thai authentic food fresh from farm" operating from 06.00hrs. - 23.00hrs.

The Yama flower is decorated throughout the entire hotel.

This morning, I came here to recharge myself.

A buffet line, might not be much variety but it is not too less.

You can sit indoor or outdoor.

Near the pool, breakfast is served until 11:00hrs.

Walking, Shooting in the old town Sino-Portuguese

After breakfast, I take a stroll at the Sino-Portuguese in the old town.

This house, I see it after parking my car. What a beautiful and classic house!

Walking and walking, it is really warm. The sky is clear. I have to put on a hat and sunscreen. I'm afraid of sun-damaged skin. Hahaha (Don't think there is any skin left to be burnt).

Trace of the glorious time in Phuket is the old town Sino-Portuguese.

Old buildings in Sino - Portuguese, which were built in 2446, as Phuket was a city of wealth in tin's mining.

The merchants from the East China and the West came to do business here thus resulting in the combination between East and West, known as the Sino-Portuguese or colonial style.

Particularly in the flourishing neighborhood such Deebook Road,Phang Nga Road, Yaowarat Road and Thalang Road.

At present, the Phuket Municipality has arranged as tourist districts.

While walking and coping with the warm weather, I stop by at 72nd Anniversary Queen Sirikit Park first.

I used to come for a walk about three years ago, I think some of buildings has slightly changed and some has become a hotel.

Some has turned to be a shop, many have been repainted. It's pretty cool though it reduces its classic style.

Every Sunday at Thalang Road is a Walking Street Market. There are plenty of foods and random stuffs sold.

Back at the hotel, let's see some other rooms.

Eastin Yama Hotel Phuket has 104 rooms and suites as below,

- 47 Superior (32 sqm)

- 34 Superior Sea View (32 sqm)

- 7 Superior Pool Access (32 sqm)

- 5 Deluxe Mountain View (41 sqm)

- 8 Deluxe Sea View (41 sqm)

- 3 Suite Sea View (63 sqm)

Start with Deluxe Sea View

Follow by a Superior room, standard room with an outdoor tub at the balcony overlooking the mountains.

Overlooking this view

Superior Sea View is slightly the same except it is overlooking the ocean.

Deluxe Seaview, this room has an outdoor tub at the balcony overlooking the sea.

Deluxe Mountain View

Mountain view bathtub, separated toilet. Wash basin next to cupboard.

After seeing diferent types of rooms, now it's time to go for a walk on the beach.

The hotel provides free shuttle to Kata beach 2 times daily,

Depart 10:00hrs/Back 14:15hrs. and Depart 14:00hrs/Back 18:15hrs.

But I don't take the hotel shuttle, I drive there though get lost sometimes.

Today at Kata beach, sometimes the sun is really bright and sometimes not. I continue to shoot with hope.

There are enough beach parking.

From Kata Beach, I drive around the island. It is a very steep hill, but some is a good road.

Beautiful views, not difficult to drive and shortly arrive at Phromthep cape. Unfortunately, it is not at sunset.

Back to the hotel, order drinks to stop my thirst.

This is Yama Paradise, without alcohol.

And this is Blue Hawaii with alcohol.

Let's have a look the pool at night.

Next is fitness, on 1st floor. There is a souvenir shop before fitness.

Fitness

Other facilities for both kids and teenagers called Kids room & Teenage room are next to the fitness.

It's time for dinner, I have some simple Thai dishes.

The SENZEES Restaurant

SIP Pool Bar

A bar near the pool, near restaurant

Romantic atmosphere, is so tempting to dine while enjoying the sunset.

This atmosphere is to meet someone's eyes and make the sun, the moon jealous.

3 days 2 nights, Chaicatawan at Eastin Yama Hotel Phuket.

Overall, I think this hotel answers to those who want to come to Phuket. It is not a luxury and expensive hotel. You don't pay for just staying and enjoying in the hotel. However, this doesn't mean that the hotel is not good.

Though it is not a beachfront hotel, but still overlooking the ocean and mountains.

New rooms as it just opened in October 2014.

Enjoy pretty light at sunset, swimming pool with waterfall wall to enhance the atmosphere.

More than that, a beautiful lobby is to capture, check-in and photo sharing on the various social medias.

Near Kata Beach, Karon, Patong, Phromthep cape. It is good for those who like a scenic drive around the island.

It may be a bit far from the airport.

If visiting Phuket, do not forget to add joy to the day of life at Eastin Yama Hotel Phuket.

Finally, I always say that what you see in this review shows only photos, sometimes a photo is way too beautiful to be true.

Perhaps in some situations, no matter how many times I take, they are not as good as you can see in real. Some of them has been edited, some finishes behind the camera. So backpack and off to rest and enjoy the beautIful world by our own is way better.

Travel and smile in our Thailand.

See you again in the next review.

From the heart............... Chaicatawan.
