Thai-Puan Village

“Can You Hear, See, Smell, Taste, Touch Me, Now?”

― Mark M. Smith

Experiences through senses can create different perspectives, that people usually never pay attention to, and remind about the basics that receive information to the brain: mouth –the taste, nose – the aroma-, ears – the hearing, eyes - the sight, body - a touch.

My name is Chock – โชคดี – which in Thai Language means “ lucky ” . I’m a time traveler, I visit Thai-Puan Village several times, each touristic spot has its history and it deserves to be counted through a multisensory experience while connecting all our senses with landscape andlocal heroes. Everything that brings us out of our comfort zone, an experience, a trip, nourishes our vision of the world. The environment and its character, and of course, each person with whom we relate and share our personal stories. I believe in a kinder, more conscious and more human world, and we have found a way to get closer to it: unexpected multisensory expeditions.Multisensory tourism is the future of tourism industry.

Puan or Thai-puan are the people of Xiangkwangdistrict in Laos PDR. During 1779 -1826 there was the main immigration into Thai territory and they founded many small communities from the North , northeast , central and east of Thailand .

“Upon my arrival in the city , I invented a dance with the emotion of my heart while contemplating the rice and banana fields. My breathing was a drumbeat. My hands embraced -three times- the size of my own body. Even with closed eyes , I am able to see the wonders of the world because in a flash a blue bird crossed my thought. The poet narrates the Universal History of Humanity with the History of Love”.
